Nail foil - Ultra Violet

Here's something new: Nail Foils!!! :D I've been waiting for this purchase for a whole month. One month of *painful* waiting if I may add. There's a lot of online stores you can buy them. Since I'm new to this I can't really recommend any special place for purchase.

My first order included 9 different foils and first one I'm going to show you is Ultra Violet. How do nail foils work you ask? Simple.

Step 1: Add basecoat to your nails. Wait for it to dry.
Step 2: Add one thin coat of adhesive and wait few minutes for it to become clear.
Step 3: Add foil and rub it on the nail with tool (nail cuticle pusher, Q-tip ... ).
Step 4: Seal it with a topcoat.

My foiling skills aren't too good as you can see. But I'm planning on getting better. ;) What do you think?

Thanks for looking!

  4. Those are gorgeous! Thank you so much for posting.

And if you don't mind, can you please tell me what top coat you used? I've tried several, and they all leave my foils looking wrinkly =/

  5. Thank you for commenting! I used Essence Maximum Wear top coat. It's just a cheap drugstore top coat, nothing special. Maybe you don't wait enough time for adhesive to dry... I don't know why would it wrinkle...

  8. Hey, Kalindi! I leave the adhesive for about a minute - until it becomes clear. Maybe your adhesive isn't good... Try another one. :)
