Antique Tiff

My lovely sister generously gave me a piece of her napkin so I could do a serviette decoupage manicure. Thanks, sis! =)

I used Diamond Cosmetics Oh, Tiff as a base, added a napkin and 3 coats of top coat.

It doesn't look as good as I thought it would. But I adore the color combination on this one. Perfect!

Thanks for looking!

  1. Wow, the colour combination and the composition are beautiful - I can't imagine it looking any better! ^_^

I very much admire your month-long vegetarian diet: is it still going well? I've been a vegetarian for seven years, my mum's been vegetarian for about five years after she saw how much good it did me - is there any chance that you and your beautiful nail designs may become completely vegetarian? ;)

  6. This is beautiful. I'm confused, did you cut off decorations from a napkin? I love the color combo, and I've been dieing to get some Diamond cosmetics.

  7. Thank you, Jennifer! =)

It's been almost a month and it's still going great. I don't miss meat itself, I only miss a couple of dishes that contain meat. I have great respect towards vegetarians (those who don't eat meat, not even fish) and mostly for vegans. I'd love to go vegan some day, I don't believe it's possible for me to become one yet. I need to start cooking for myself. =) Congrats on being a vegetarian for such a long time! I admire that!

  8. Hvala, Helena! Tale prtiček se je skrival v kompletu za servietno tehniko. Sem pa našla primerne prtičke tudi v Hofru. Pa še za božič in novo leto bodo dobri. ;)

  23. Thank you! For the first few months of becoming veggie I ate the occasional tuna sandwich but I quickly decided that that isn't proper vegetarianism! I too aspire to be vegan: I am vegan about 70% of the time, but I'm not so strict that I won't have cow's milk, spreads and other dairy products at others' houses and so on. I do a lot of exercise and I have problems with my digestive system, and I find my diet, with lots of non-animal protein and fibre gives me plenty of energy and keeps me in shape - I'm quite an enthusiast on the subject of nutrition, but I must stop myself before I become boring! :D

Anyhoo, good luck with starting to cook for yourself, it's so freeing and you will come to love it I'm sure - be careful with those lovely nails whilst chopping though, I've had a few silly accidents! :)
