Color Club - Revvvolution

Hey, dear readers! I'm going away for few days and I decided to go with Color Club Revvvolution on my nails. I know this is awesome color, but it dissapointed me today. It just doesn't want to show itself in full glory. I guess the lighting is bad.

Here it is outside, when there's no sunlight:

On sunshine:

I'm not impressed.

Happy Halloween y'all!!! :*

Thanks for looking! See you in a couple of days. :)

Inglourious Basterds Manicure Tutorial

Hey, dear readers! I promised to do this tutorial soooooo long ago. :) I think it's perfect time to post it. After all, it is Halloween time. :)

What do you prefer? The look of dried up or fresh & still wet blood? Photo on L is without top coat and on R with top coat.

Have a great Halloween!

Suffocated by the Devil's Bonfire

I got some eyeshadow samples today. I couldn't wait to play with them ... so, I didn't. Wait. :)

I used two shades: Suffocation (pink with shimmer that flashes blue) and Devil's Bonfire (black with multicolor shimmer). They are both from the Evil Shades Cosmetics (our lovely fellow blogger Evil Angel is making them). I don't know if this is made on purpose, but my shadows smell so sweet. I keep sniffing them ... hopefully I won't sniff all of it. :) This is just a quick look, so be nice! :)

What else to name this look than Suffocated by the Devil's Bonfire? It's perfect. :)

Here I am. I fainted from all the suffocation. LOL

Evil Angel, here is my answer to your photo (the one with you showing off OPI Ink in all it's glory). Hehehehe

Gothic Lolita

I tried to recreate this beautiful manicure that Wan from i love nail polish made. She named it Gothic Lolita and it looks gorgeous.

It didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. I fell miserably.

I used:
* Sinful - Easy Going (#700) for base
* Color Club - Where's the Soiree for stamping
* Vollare Nail Artistic black striping polish for the lines
* Konad IP M71

I know you are all sick and tired of this mani already... but anyway. Girls from Slovenian cosmetic forum Ars Cosmetica ''forced'' me to mattify this manicure. :D LOL Ladies, this one is for you! Pirate manicure with Essie Matte About You:

Next photo is dedicated to a very special lady - Powerlifterchick! She has her own blog (The Kronicles of a Konad-er) which I discovered recently and can't stop staring at her pictures. She's smoking hot! And her nail art is awesome too! What more could you possibly want?

Obviousely I was trying to recreate a photo of Angelina Jolie. There are even two of her tattoos added on my back. :) I only have two tattoos myself and one can be seen on my left wrist. :) Look, Christy, I'm posing just for you! :D

French-ed Up

Do you remember the incident that happened in the beggining of the october, when Somali pirates made a mistake and attacked French military flagship? I know that pirates are dangerous and serious matter, but I found this so hillarious. I had to make a tribute. :)

I used Maybelline Mirror Image and Konad IP M19.

Get it? LOL :)))

Pirates are here!!!

You liked my previous post soooooo much, that I decided to do a MU too! ;)

As you can see, it really is a ''pirate-y'' MU. I made it quickly and just for fun, so don't be to hard on me, okay? :)

''Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!''

Thanks for looking!

Pirates are coming

I have the perfect opportunity to use one of my favourite Pirates of the Carribean quotes: ''But why is all the rum gone?'' :))))

It's a foggy morning here in Zurkov Dol. I realised that fog makes just the right light for photographing. :) When there's sun above it, of course.

Check out my Skull Manicure. I used Essence Fatal nail polish for a base. This one is really nice black creme and it's opaque in one coat. I used 2, just because I can. :) For stamping I used Color Club French Tip (white creme) and Konad IP M28. Now my nails look like a pirate flag. :)

My False Halloween Nails

I got myself some Halloween nails too (a month ago). I planned on doing the whole look for it. But it turned out, that I won't do it at all. A friend is having a non-halloween party, sooooo... Guess I'm gonna skip Halloween this year.

I applied them for a minute, just to take photos for you. These false nails really aren't for anything else than Halloween or Slovenian version of it - carnival/masquerades (that's in february or march). Look at my pretty claws! :)

I still like those from Polish Mayhem waaaaaaaaaay more. :)

Thanks for looking!

I want this soooooo bad!!

I saw these false nails on Polish Mayhem today. I want them!!! Can anyone get them for me? I'd be grateful until my death! Payment via Paypal. :)

All three photos are from Polish Mayhem blog!

Autumn is coming

I went for a short walk today. With three of my cats. I noticed - autumn surely is coming.

And Gaia is getting fat. That's telling something. :)

I had the pleasure to see both of my nieces today. Here is Suzi with her best cat friend, Aishila.

I'm sorry I have no photos of nail polish for you today. I don't feel like removing my marble mani yet. Tomorrow I'll post some old pictures. Can you guess which nail polish?

Don't forget: my giveaway ends today at midnight (Slovenian time). There's still some time for you to enter. I'll announce a winner tomorrow.

Walnut Roll

Yesterday I decided to make a walnut roll. We ate it today, because it had to ''rest'' for a day in the refrigerator. All I can say is: ''It was GOOOOOOD!'' :) There's nothing left for you, but I can share the recipe.

* 6 eggs
* 6 big spoons of sugar
* 10 dag (4 ounces) of grated walnuts
* 410 mL (2 cups) of sour cream

Separate egg white from yolk. Mix yolk with sugar and grated walnuts. Stir egg whites until the mixture becomes ''hard'' - until you make a foam. Now you have to slowly add the egg foam (spoon by spoon) to the mixture of yolk, sugar and walnuts. Stir carefully and slowly (you don't want the foam to become all ''non-foamy''). :D
Bake this dough for 20 minutes at 200 degrees celsius. Make sure you bake it on the paper (that one for baking of course).
After the dough is done, we roll it with the paper into a roll. Wait until it's cold. Unroll it, add sour cream and roll it back. Now without the paper. :)
Put it in a refrigerator for a day.

Bon apetit! :)

Well, I have to admit my BF helped me a little with the ''nut cracking''. :) Here I am in action (this was a tough one):

And look, Hello Kitty helped also. :D

This is what Walnut Roll looks like after it's finished. Absolutely wonderful! :)

P. S. : I don't really know the right english expressions used in recipes... Soooo...hope you understand. ;)

''Sexy time'' with Aishila

My BF says that cuddling with cats equals to having ''sexy time'' with them. LOL :))) Well, today I had my ''sexy time'' with Aishila while I was reading my daily news - Make Up Alley. :)

Well, I always have my feet on the chair, while I'm on the computer. And sometimes Aishila comes and sets herself between my chest and legs. It's a tight place, but she likes it.

And then she says ''thank you'' with giving me eskimo (nose to nose) kisses.

When our ''sexy time'' is over, she falls asleep. :)

Water Lilies Marble

Please, don't ask me why it's called Water Lilies Marble. My BF came up with it. :) Also - it's been raining here for whole day. That's why the photos are so bad. I did the best I could.

As a base, I used Orly Cashmere Cardigan. I'm in love with this color! And the fact that it needs only 2 coats makes me love it even more. :)

For marbling I used China Glaze nail polishes in Aqua Baby & Agent Lavender. This is the outcome:

For all of you who want to see marbling in process, I made a video. Hope you like it!

Comment if you have any questions. Thanks for looking! :)
