Manicure Failure

Note to myself: Rainy day isn't the best day to wear sun-changing nail polish!

I topped my Essie MCA with Del Sol Island Fever color changing nail polish that I got from Missy. I don't know why was I expecting sun ... but I did. And now it's raining. Crivens!
I'm gonna show you the photos anyway.

This is Essie Mint Candy Apple + Del Sol Island Fever (2 coats). Del Sol dries so fast I didn't even need Seche Vite on top. Photos inside my Crappy.

And an outdoor photo. It did turn a bit blue, didn't it? But not enough. I'm gonna try it again on a sunny day.

Thanks for looking!

    I love your new header!
I don't think it's truly a failure, it's a very pretty color and it did change enough that you can tell. :)

  19. I really like that colour, and I wish I could get my nails to grow as long as yours! ;)

How easy is it to get this colour changing nail polish in Europe?

  20. I don't think the color change would show if I layered it over black. *thinks* Hmmm...

  26. Lovely shade of green. Nothing is a failure. There's always a learning experience. I don't bother with that brand of polish since I'm not going outside. I'd never see it change.

  27. I love the two shades, can't wait to see it in full sun ! I'm sure it will be great :p
