My Perfume Collection

Valerie wanted to see my collection of perfumes. Here you go, Valerie. =) I'm not a perfume junkie. I really have to like the scent to go and buy an original. Here are the originals... and I'll post the ''fake'' ones some other time.

Oriflame - Amethyst Fatale
Got this one from my sister, 'cause she didn't like the smell. I love it, but unfortunately it doesn't like my skin and it brings out the worst middle notes from it. Not wearing this one to often.

Britney Spears - Midnight Fantasy
This was a love at first sniff. I tried to not care for this one, I mean come on, it's Britney Spears. Who would like to smell like her? =) I couldn't resist it though. It smells sooooooo good. One of my TOP 3.

Bvlgari - BLV Notte
When I first read about this perfume, I knew I'd like it. And I really did/do. Vodka, iris and chocolate - that's my thing! =) I LOVE it! Also one of my TOP 3.

Puma - I'm Going
I usually wear strong perfumes (in small amounts), so this one isn't really typical for me. I like it nonetheless. I wear it when I feel girly rather than ''I'm gonna kick your as*''.

Versace - Crystal Noir
Another one that smells divine, but doesn't like my skin chemistry. I can wear it on very rare occasions. I think it just smells like soap on me...

Naomi Campbell - Mystery
R.I.P. The last one of my TOP 3. I used it a while ago and I still can't get rid of the bottle. They stopped selling it and I can't find it anywhere. *cries*

Thanks for looking!

  4. Nothing wrong with liking something related to Britney and smelling like her. There are far worse people in the world. :) Anyway, I've often read how girls were liking this perfume. It's not available in France so I can't check it for myself. Could someone make a little description for me? I'm very curious!

  5. This is so cool, I don't really have a perfume collection yet as I don't wear it often. But I think that I should start one as i am very particular about smells.

  6. Hello, I Have you taggée in my blog (kevyoongles.over-blog.com)

  7. Nice smells, the first one is from Oriflame though;)

  8. Bottled colognes and perfumes smell horrid on me! I make my own fragrance with essential oils. I've used the same formula for years, but recently have not been able to purchase the awesome Sandalwood I was using. :(

Are there more posts coming up with your cats?
It's nice to see your perfume collection.

  10. Wow!
This is a wonderful collection. And what's interesting I too adore Versace's Crystal Noir and Naomi's Mystery. :)

Britney's perfumes are lovely, but a bit too strong sometimes. Love it though. ;)

  11. First one don't ship to EU. =) And I can't buy perfume from outside of EU because of the taxes and customs. ;)
    Thanks for links! =)

  12. This is description from Wikipedia: "Fantasy" was created by Jim Krivda, and it's notes are red lychee, golden quince, kiwi, cupcake accord, jasmine petals, white chocolate orchid, musk, orris root and sensual woods. It has been described as initially smelling fruity, then very sweet, showing the promised smells of cupcake and white chocolate, with a very light floral smell.
In my mind...it's like an evening with starry sky spent in garden of fruit and flowers. Very feminine, sexy and romantic. =)

  13. Just a tip: buy original perfume only if you're really into it. Try tester before buying and make sure you wear it a couple of times. Perfumes tend to smell differently on different persons. And the real smell develops after some time, so it's crucial you wear it on YOUR skin. =)

  14. Oh, thank you, Pascale! =)

  15. Thank you! I don't know what I was thinking. =)

    ReplyDelete
  16. Do you have a name for your fragrance? What's the scent like?

    ReplyDelete
  17. I don't mind wearing it during daytime... I don't follow the rules when it comes to perfumes. =) Or anything else for that matter.

  18. Would you like to see more of my cats? Tell me what you're interested in and I'll try to write about it. =)

  19. Guess we have familiar taste. =) I like strong perfumes. A lady from perfume store once told me, I'm to exotic for gentle scents. LOL =) I need a strong perfume.

  20. I have one perfume. Guess what it is? lol... Britney Spears Fantasy (the pink bottle). Smells better of me apparently than the midnight one. My husband picked it based on smell. I can't help as I wasn't born with a sense of smell! Hence I just wear the one perfume.... until hubby decides he is sick of it but i've been using this one for going on 4years now.

  21. =) It's nice of your hubby to pick the perfume for you. But then again, he'll be smelling it more than you will. =)

I would love to see your cats all together in 1 photo but i don't think that is possible.
I have trouble photoraphing my 2 cats together so that's why i make different posts for each kitty.

It would be nice to see some more posts with your kitties!

  23. I never thought to give it a name!
My basic recipe is 2 ingredients- Sandalwood and Amber.
My winter scent is my basic recipe with the addition of Bayberry.
Spring scent, basic recipe with Pine
    Summer- just the basic recipe
Fall- basic recipe with the addition of Patchouli. I have to say- men go totally nuts over this one.

  24. I don't know any of your perfumes, lol. The two first one are cute, and the way you describe Britney's perfume makes me want to try it ! But I can't find it in belgium :(

    ReplyDelete
  25. I'd love to sniff the fall one. =)

    ReplyDelete
  26. I would love to have them all on the same photo too, but that's not gonna happen. =) I'll try to post about them more often. =)

    ReplyDelete
  27. How come they don't have it in Belgium? That's weird. Well, you can always check Ebay. =)

  28. I'd feel naked if I didn't have perfume on. I wear a scent everyday. I use it after my shower, before bed, when I get up in the morning or anytime I need it. I have quite a few perfumes. Right now Lancome's scent smell delicious to me. If I want to smell fresh and clean I use Philosophy's Amazing Grace. I don't understand people that save their perfume for a special occasion or when they go out. I love fragrance and enjoy wearing it.

  29. Hello Sasha! Thanks for sharing your perfume collection as I asked! What is this lovely bottle of Oriflame - Amethyst Fatale? I have never heard about it. Could you describe it? What does it smell like? :)

I hope you feel better these days :) Take care!

  30. I love strong scents too. One of my favourite notes is patchouli. It's often loved or hated.

  31. Check amazon.com in the beauty section: they have Naomi Campell Mystery.
    :) I hope it helps :)

  32. If I can get my hands on some good Sandalwood- you shall!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I love all the Britney Spears perfumes, I tried not to like them too but it didn't work.

I want to try the Bvl Notte I just haven't made the plunge yet.

  34. NC Mystery is my all time favourite! Unfortunately (for me) it's the only perfume I can wear actually. I have a huge trouble finding a proper scent with my "weird" sense of smell. I bought 50 ml bottle in October from Ebay. Now I wish I have ordered several more bottles. Have just checked 2 other sellers that carried it - it's the end indeed!:( Can't imagine how will I ever live without it. :/

    ReplyDelete
  35. By the way, when I was searching for NC Mystery in October, I came across 3 sellers who stated they ship internationally but not to Europe. I contacted them, and they replied they are ready to ship it to Finland anyway (it wasn't marked as a perfume on the description of contents! I guess there could be problems otherwise). I'll contact the seller I ordered from whether he has it in stock (Mystery is not mentioned on his website though). I'll let you know if you're interested.
