I think I need tranquilizers. Hmmmm...
I've spent all morning scraping off the remains of false nails from yesterday. Soaking my fingers in acetone, warm water, scrubbing them with nail brush ... using foil technique, I've tried it ALL. Even buffing. *sigh* Now you get the idea what my nails had to go through. You know what's the best remedy? Applying almond oil (or any other cosmetic oil) and cream on hands and wearing cotton gloves until it all soaks in. It makes wonders!
I used a very special nail polish to make me feel better. Well, it might not be so special to you, but it is to me. I've had this nail polish for over 5 years. Yep, that's right. =)
It almost ''died'' on me and I don't know why didn't I throw it away (that was before I knew about thinner). I revived it a month ago and it applies like the day I bought it. Seche Restore rocks!
This are 2 coats, with Seche Vite. On my very, very shortened nails. :/

Thanks for looking!

What a gorgeous color! Your nail look beautiful even shortened!
ReplyDeleteYou have lovely long nail beds that your short nails are devine! My short nails are tiny in comparison! Yep, gotta love oils, balms and creams!
ReplyDeletegorgeous colour!and perfect nails<3
ReplyDeletei must just say i adore your blog! you reviews are superb!
ReplyDeletei had a severe nail picking (not biting, picking) problem and i wore fake glue-ons for a while and i still have problems from my right thumbnail. the glue sorta altered the way my nail grew and after months of wearing them and almost a year without them, its still kinda messed up.
just keep buffing and applying your oil treatments and it should be ok soon, especially since you only did it once. you have such beautiful nails, if i were you - id never do falsies again!
Gorgeous color! And your nails are still perfect :)
ReplyDeleteTranquilizers....mmm, oh yeah, I love this color! Say no to falsies!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty colour! I like the length of your nails now. They don't look short at all :)

ReplyDeleteIt was my fave. Along with black of course. =)
ReplyDelete=) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe color of this nail polish is very beautiful, I think I have one like that. I also have nail polishes that are special to me, and some very old. Your nails are beautiful, and I don't think they are so short...
ReplyDeleteThat is such a pretty color, and compliments your skin so well. Good thing you didn't throw it out! And you're nails still look very pretty, even if they're shorter than you care for.
ReplyDeleteI love that color, and your nails still look prettty :]
ReplyDeleteThe same happened to me with false nails recently lol.. :[

That is a lovely vampy!
ReplyDeleteThis is why I will never use glue on nails. I'd rather file or soak off gel or acrylics than deal with glue-ons.
I hope your nails go back to normal soon. They are *still* lovely-even at the short length!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Camila!
ReplyDeleteThanks! =)
ReplyDeleteI saw it... Crivens! And thank you!
ReplyDeleteI hear you. But I still have some false nails I'd LOVE to use...if only they wouldn't ruin my nails.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lisa!
ReplyDeleteUgh, now I know why I'm not trying false nails!
ReplyDeleteI think your nails look great even short like this. That's a gorgeous color too. :)
Nihrida: Your nails are still gorgeous and that's a beautiful polish color. I've had to cut mine shorter because I'm about to start typing again. I think I like them shorter.
