Catching Up

I recently won a competition at Pretty Punk Beauty Junkie. I got my package today and there was a nail polish bottle in it (among with candy, real British tea, MAC holographic glitter and scented wax). Great stuff, right? But I haven't even told you which shade I got... It's Misa. It's VINTAGE Misa! Oh my! Look at this pretty polish!

Isn't it gorgeous? Thank you, Chicky! :***

I was contacted by Tony from Modern Gent online store and I have a good news for you. =) They decided to give a special offer to my readers - a little discount on their Tangle Teezer brushes and free UK delivery (delivery to other destinations is quite cheap too).

I'm not affiliated with this store, I just love the Tangle Teezer so much. =) You can get your ''miracle brush'' HERE. I will add this site to my ''stores'' column in the sidebar too.

I also got contacted by Sylvia, April and Monica from Wizards of Bling. Their moto is: Polish, Perfume and Bling - sounds good, right? =) Their blog is quite new and I think they deserve your love. Check out their latest comparison posts (we all like comparisons, don't we). =)

And another thing I'm terribly sad about. I won't be able to swatch China Glaze polishes anymore. The shipping company doesn't want to ship to Slovenia anymore. So in order to get my hand on China Glaze, I'd have to find someone from another EU country to get the package for me and send it my way. That would cost even more than if I bought ChG myself... but there's also the fact that I'd have to wait for the shades to come to the stores... I'm afraid I won't be helpful with that anymore. *bummed out*

Do you have any suggestions how to solve this problem?

Thanks for looking!

  2. Also, about the China Glaze, I can always pick them up for you at the supplyhouse

  3. Where do you order your China Glazes from? I order mine from transdesign.com where they are super cheap - only $2.60 a pop and if you order 9 polishes the shipping is only $2 per bottle (small flat rate box is $18 and fits a maximum of 9 polishes, the medium box fits 10-42 polishes and costs $57, and the large one fits 43-65 polishes and costs $65). I live in Sweden and have never had a problem with them, always super fast shipping (1 week) and never any custom fees because of the way they mark the packages. It doesn't say on their website that they don't ship to certain countries either - I keep my fingers crossed that you'll get ahold of a new China Glaze retailer!

  4. I wasn't ordering them. I got them from China Glaze to review. And now they told me they can't send to Slovenia anymore. :/

    What a beautiful Misa!
I wish I had a solution to your China glaze problem, that sucks.
A lot of us are having issue with them since they are being bum rushed by a billion new blogs all wanting samples. I just hope it doesn't create a competitive attitude among blogs. :(
I buy all my own China glaze because I get's no love and I'm impatient as hell! :)

  6. Oh man, that sucks! Lots of retailers have stopped shipping China Glaze outside the US lately, wonder why =(

The misa polish is gorgeous by the way!

  7. It breaks my heart. China Glaze was the only company that sent me nail polish collection and now they'll stop too. It's hard to get ChG in EU... and now this. Crivens!

  8. It really makes no sense to me - it's almost like they think we're exchanging bombs, or something! Absolutely crazy. I'm so sorry to hear that.
That Misa is STUNNING. What a nice treat! Congratulations.

  9. I'll gladly send them to you when I move to canada, although, after they appear in stores unfortunately... <3

  10. That misa is so pretty! China Glaze is such a huge and hugely popular company, and I think they're getting absolutely choked to death by the amount of bloggers trying to get on the samples list. If you can't find anywhere that ships them, just let me know and I'll send you ChG's again

  11. Thank you so much for the shout out! We hope to make lots of new friends! I'm sorry about China Glaze, I hope they change their mind! :)

  12. That Misa looks great!
Sorry to hear about ChG, I hope you'll find a retailer soon. I get mine @ Transdesign too, and I'm satisfied with it.

  13. I've never seen older Misa's. Pretty shade. Guess you'll just have to spend your own money to try the ones you like. It must be nice to get free shades of polish to review. It's a shame if there is problems between bloggers to get free polish to review.

  14. Awww, no more China Glaze. I really don't think they should give out samples to anyone. I know blogging and swatching is hard, blah blah, but I don't really think it's fair to other "unpopular" bloggers. I have my little shitty blog, and I pay for everything cause I love to do it.

    That's my two cents. =)
