Hehehe. Well, not exactly.
China Glaze, Fortune Teller, 2 coats

You can see: this polish is nasty. It looks like a toad's skin. But there's a cure for that. I read about it on my fellow wicked vixen's blog written by Stiletto - HERE.
So, I just soaked a paper handkerchief with acetone and lightly swiped the surface of the nails.
Taaadaaa: doesn't this look better?

You know I can't wear more than 2 colors at the same time (including black). =)

Thanks for looking!

Gorgeous color! :) It really reminds me of autumn and of the fire salamander. I also love the outfit! It's more colorful than your usual black :)
ReplyDeletelove that polish. Great tip too, will have to remember that!
ReplyDeleteO, je leeeep!
ReplyDeleteYAY! So glad one of my little tricks worked for ya!
ReplyDeleteI was actually just thinking that i needed to do a post full of before and afters doing this method! so great timing!
I love this polish! Thanks for the tip about evening it out too! I need to use this again. I think I've only worn it twice.
ReplyDeletej'adore ce vernis, mais il est toujours en rupture quand je veux le commander !
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cool trick! I love both looks, but that second one really pops! Love the clothes combo to go with it as well. You just proved you need not wait for halloween to have your fortune read!! :-)

This one is nasty but woow ))
ReplyDeleteWish I could love glitter, but I can't. The colors in this are amazing.
ReplyDeleteAmazing polish! For my clothes, same for me: I hardly can't wear more than 2 colors. I'm rather black pants + black skin-tight t-shirt + rock accessories + bright/neon sweater. In your clothes suggestion, I also love the studded bracelet and black t-shirt but sorry, not the glasses nor the shoes :(
ReplyDeleteLOL at "It looks like a toad's skin" but I can see what you mean! It looks LOADS better after the acetone.
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
wow nifty trick! I hope I remember it next time I wear ft!
ReplyDeleteI *knew* this would look fabulous on you- even though you don't like orange much.
ReplyDeleteThat trick makes it look 100 times better, that's amazing. I know the first time and only time I've wore Fortune Teller I wasn't impressed at all, but I'll have to try it again now. This looks great on you!
ReplyDeleteI need this SO BAD now! Haha. Also that outfit is great! Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteOh, god...I'm so scared of Fire Salamanders. I'm not sure why, but everytime I went to the forest to pick muchrooms I saw one looking at me. XD I held one in my hand though. And they're nice...but still.
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike! =) Your tip works GREAT!
ReplyDeleteMerci! J'espère que vous l'obtiendrez bientôt.
ReplyDeleteROFL!!! =D Great comment, Christabella!
ReplyDeleteYou can haz a glitter hate.
ReplyDeleteI'd wear those shoes. In black.
ReplyDeleteYou know me oh so well. =)
ReplyDeleteGive it a try! It looks so gorgeous after the acetone ''treatment''. =D
ReplyDeleteThank you, Becca! =)
