China Glaze Poolside over White

Here are Poolside bottle photos for you. I think you get the idea of what these colors look like, I just want to remind you that they're A LOT brighter in real life.

I've been blabbing about neons and layers yesterday. I didn't want to leave it hanging in the air, so I got out my Wet n Wild French White Creme and layered these neons over it. Just for you!

Sun Worshiper - It looks great by itself or layered over white. I used 3 layers when I applied SW by itself and it looks deep and jelly-ish. You only need 2 coats when you layer it over white. It looses it's depth and jelly-like quality when applied like this, but it gains on brightness. Love it either way.

Pool Party - This one reminds me of those Claire's Mood polishes when applied by itself (3 coats). It's red-ish pink and kind of changes. Weird, I can't explain it. You get the true barbie pink neon color when you apply it over white and I prefer it layered like this. It truly pops!

Yellow Polka Dot Bikini - This one needs 4 coats when applied by itself and only 2 coats over white. I don't like this one by itself, but it's ''oh-so-bright-and-gorgeous'' over white. You agree?

Kiwi Cool-ada - The same case as with Sun Worshiper. Good either way. Apply as you prefer. ;)

Towel Boy Toy - This teal-ish blue looks good both ways, it's beautiful enough to be boring. Next!

Flip Flop Fantasy - The most mysterious of the bunch. It *really* looks coral pink in the bottle, but when I apply it, I see orange. How exactly does that work? I don't care, it's bright and it's interesting. White base will make it even brighter.

Can you see what I'm talking about? I have Flip Flop Fantasy on my index finger and I'm holding a bottle of Sun Worshiper in my hand. Is that orange or is that orange? Hmmm... *scratches head*

Yesterday I said I don't like Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, 'cause it's sheer. Well, here's the solution: apply over white and you'll get the brightest yellow in the universe. Seriously, if you're planning on getting those, consider buying a bottle of opaque white creme too. It'll come in handy. =)

Thanks for looking!
