I didn't have any application problems with this one. I still applied 3 coats, just to be on the safe side.
Claire's Mood - Wild/Calm (purple to pink), 3 coats
As you can see, this one has shimmer in it. I wouldn't call it glitter and it also applies more like those foil finish polishes. I kind of dig it.
The only thing that (kind of) bothers me is the fact that the tips are darker than the rest of the nails. I'd love to see it the other way around. Like on the photo above, where my index and pinkie have purple color as a base and pink on the tips. This way it wouldn't look like you have dirt under your nails. But that's just my thought.
Here's an outfit to go with it. I'm not completely sure if I'd wear this and as you can see, I'm not really good at combining the outfits. XD But I love playing with the Polyvore creator and I think I'm gonna torture you with my hideous combinations some more. I love the shoes though!

These mood changing polishes are so cool! I think the dark tips are kinda funky, they don't look like dirt at all.

ReplyDeleteUuuuyyyy I try so hard not to be jealous! I go crazy about gimmicky cosmetics and I think this particular polish is equally as cool as the Lancome Magnetique (remember, few yrs ago)

I can't buy Claires in NZ - and I thought (iniatially) eh.. who cares, I'm not that into then. But how my mood has changed.., HA yes pun intended *sigh*. Me = lame. But actually, I've seen these mood polishes swatched many times now and they are really awesome huh! I love how it changes.

ReplyDeleteThanks! I wore the green one a couple of days ago and early in the afternoon my nails were just green. But then as my hands got warmer it changed and my nails were yellow with green tips. It really depends on your hand temperature.
