Gaia's Life

Gaia's life is pretty simple. It involves sleeping on/in various places, over eating and being fabulous. Her little ego is even bigger than her fat, furry ass. Don't be fooled: she looks like a tender little kitten, but she's a diva.

She's always preying on animals smaller than her (except for our chihuahuas)... 'cause they might be a nice snack before lunch. If not, she doesn't give them too much attention. She's just too cool. But I think it was here first time seeing an ant this big...

Guess this ant wasn't brunch material.

I can't remember where I saw it, but I was reading an article about cats and what they're doing when their owners aren't at home. They placed little cameras on them and you know what they discovered? Most of the people think that cats are sleeping while they're away. But it turned out that the majority of cats was looking through the window most of the time they were alone. Interesting, huh?

Thanks for looking!

  2. She is so sweet looking! Why is it always the cute/sweet looking ones that have some sort of attitude?

I read that article and I can't remember where either. They were suprised that cats didn't sleep as much as they thought. I think they have secret meetings to discuss world domination.

  3. I love these posts about your cats! My cat loved to sit in windows...and walk on counter tops.Even though she barely tolerated other cats, I think she would have found a kindred spirit in Gaia. Either that or they'd battle over which one would be top diva :)

  5. Oh cats.

I just spotted mine tonight sitting on the bench next to my hamsters cage, like she was a statue. I was pretty mad at her. My hamster was too scared to run on his wheel the rest of the night. Hope she didn't stress the poor little guy out!

I love the captions you gave your cat lol.

  7. Naww, this post has made me miss my cat! Can I live vicariously through posts of Gaia?

That's funny about what cats do when their owners aren't there, because I'm pretty sure all my cat does is sleep (he's old) and eat food that's on the bench (which he doesn't do when we're there) - naughty cat!

She is so cute in her Diva glory! I always picture my three cats doing bad things together when I'm not home (like silly stuff) like getting into things they don't belong ...turning on my touch kitchen faucet and taking showers under it LOL, kindaof like Alvin and the Chipmunks hahaha.

  19. I love Gaia, I want her cute little ass! =) I think my cats are chasing each other while I'm gone, since that's usually what they do when they think I'm not there.
