What the box says:
''Shape, define, tempt and tease. Illamasqua Bronzer contains crushed pearl powder, for a smooth, even finish that leaves skin begging to be caressed. Apply to face and body for a beautiful bronzed glow that will last until dawn.''

Ingredients: Talc, Mica, Nylon-12, Zinc Stearate, Dimethicone, Margarita Powder (Pearl Powder), Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral Oil), Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Ethylhexyl Stearate, Isopropyl Lanolate, Octyldodecanol, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben.
WOW, that's a lot of parabens!

I don't usually use bronzers. Mainly because I'm too pale. If I have to use something with color, I'll use blush in most cases.
This really looked like it would be way to dark for me. But it's not. I wouldn't wear it now, but I'll have to try it out in summer. It's soft and pigmented, but not heavy. I especially like it because it's buildable. You have to be careful not to use too much. Noone looks good with ''bronzer abuse'' written on their faces, right?
However, I did use to much of it on my hand. Just to show you the color. =)

All in all, this is a really nice bronzer. The shimmer is really fine and you don't look like you've fallen into glitter mud when you use it. That's a huge plus in my book.
Do you use bronzer? Which one is your favorite? Would you consider purchasing this Illamasqua bronzer?
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. =)
Thanks for looking!

haha, i love the word "bronzener abuse"- I've seen some/quite a few girls whose face-shade doesn't match their "hand" shade...
ReplyDeleteI love bronzers! My favorite at the moment is MAC's MSF So Ceylon.
ReplyDeleteThis Illamasqua one is beautiful <3
well, it's certanly not for acne prone skin. my favorite is T. Leclerc Terre de sienne
ReplyDeleteWell, I prefer blush, just like you - or highlighter. It is hard for me to find the right bronzer, cuz I"m cool-toned and as pale as a vampire, so most bronzers look like brick dust on me =) right now I was thinking whether to buy somethind more expensive or not (Guerlain, for example, cuz they have some more delicate shades), but this thing looks nice. Why not give it a try? =)
ReplyDeleteisnt the color just so gorgeous? I love Illamasqua's bronzers too :D
ReplyDeleteLooks very nice! But with silicones & mineral oil... Not for me :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are Alima Pure's Mauna Loa and one from Lumene Natural Code (sold only in here, I think)
No thanks, I'll stick to being pale.
ReplyDeleteKrasen bronzer! Mislim, da bo kmalu moj, čeprav me parabeni malo motijo :/
