Golden Chocolate Swirls

Craptastic day. I woke up at 7 AM because of my hairdresser appointment. I *really* needed a haircut and dying. Now when it's all over, I still *need* to dye my hair. My roots are even worse than they were before! I'm not even gonna show you the photo of my hair ... I told my BF to take a photo of my hair from behind on natural lighting. Holy catastrophy! I think I'm gonna puke. There goes 40 €.

I already called the salon and told them about it, but my hair dresser went on vacation. Well, she must have been in a real hurry. Maybe that's why my hair didn't get the treatment it should get.

Also: I hate hair salons. Hair dressers usually know everything about everyone and they always want to talk about those who aren't there. I do not dig that. I won't even mention the damage she did on my head while trying to comb my hair. I'm really sorry I didn't bring my Tangle Teezer with me. I didn't have the heart to tell them that they don't know how to comb hair, 'cause I do it without that amount of pain.

Anyway. I'm so miserable right now. Headache + nausea + bad haircut + loss of 40 € = BAD, BAD DAY!

I wanted to cheer myself up with something I hadn't done in a while - konadicure! It turns out I don't know how to stamp anymore. Crivens! Can this day get any ''better''?

Base: Essence Spicy
Pattern: China Glaze 2030
Konad IP M51

Thanks for looking!

gah, hairdressers, last time I went I was 14 or so - but then, I probably have 1/3 of your hair and I just have to dye it from blond to whatever so it's not hard... not that I'm happy about it!!!
what color is your natural hair? :) I didn't know at all you dyed it :)

  10. OH EM GEE!! This is fabulous!! It looks perfect!! you still have your skills, girl!! That looks just as delicious as the title you gave it! Sowwie your hair dresser messed up your hair - I think all women have had that bad hairdresser experience - that's why I cut mine all off and go the barbershop now it's so short!! :-) Great mani!!

  11. hope you feel better soon. bad combination of bad shit happening. :/
(is it something in the air? headache time here too)
btw. i cut and color my hair myself, with very straight hair it is the easiest way to avoid hair salon disasters.

  13. Ojoj, tudi jaz ne maram salonov... Nazadnje mi je vsevedna frizerka skrajšala lase za 20cm kjub temu, da sem ji izrecno rekla, naj mi postrže le konice! :(
Konadikura ti je super uspela! Všeč mi je motiv. =D

  14. That really stinks. I only let one guy touch my hair, his name is Juan and he totally rocks.

Your konadicure really makes me want to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. When I ordered it way back when, I swore to everyone it smelled like chocolate. Every person I tried to get to smell it looked at me like I was crazy.
Come to find out, I wasn't as there is an ad in the case that has a rub-n-smell coating on it that smells like chocolate!
I've had that movie for a while now and it still has the scent when I open it.

  28. I don't know why you said you don't know how to stamp anymore, because this looks really rich and luxurious, and a great job!

Yeah, I gave up on hairdressers and salons - now I just cut and colour my own hair after years of paying and then coming home and doing it over myself!

  29. Yeah, I HATE going to hairdressers. Every few years I get a yen to go get my hair did & every time I'm reminded why I cut my own damn hair. This last time I had to get a major cut to remove my super-fried bleached ends, way too drastic to tackle by myself so I went to what I THOUGHT would be a good salon. $50 later & I'm walking out with too-short hair that's STILL fried due to the IDIOT stylist flatironing it while it was WET!!! When your hair is damaged, you do NOT iron it wet under any circumstances. I said something to her about it & she told me the 'protectant' she was using would prevent damage. Well, her 'protectant' turned out to be HAIRSPRAY. She sprayed hairspray in it & proceeded to fry my new ends all over again, completely negating the whole purpose of the damn haircut. I walked out of there with stiff, dull, bushy hair that didn't move when I shook my head. I could have strangled her.

I guess I should have turned & ran when I saw that she was wearing a Bumpit under her fried platinum hair though, so maybe it's my own fault.

  31. Fantastic nails! I hope you go back to the salon when your hairdresser returns. They really need to address that issue. I feel awful when my hair looks bad. Sometimes I would love to just shave it all off.

  33. Me too!!! I'm seriously thinking of just buzzing it & wearing a wig for a year or so. Sooooo tempting...

  34. How short did you cut your hair? I hate getting my hair cut, cause they usually fuck my hair up. Maybe that's why I haven't been in a year and a half...I've had the same issue with them ripping through my hair. Mine is straight, but it gets tangled easily. They should be the ones to know you're not supposed to tear through tangles I mean, they went to school FOR HAIR.
