Predjama Castle

Predjama Castle was on my 'to see' list for quite some time. I finally saw it with my own two eyes and it's gorgeous.

Slovenia has a lot of castles, but this one is really special. It's even on the Oddee's list of 10 most fascinating Castles and Palaces in the world. I think you can see why this 700 years old beauty made it to the list. Click this link or this link to read more.

Stunning! That's all I'm gonna say.

Thanks for looking!

The castles... the landscape. It is breath taking.
Do you think I could get by speaking English, or would I need a translator book?

  8. Wow, that's awesome! I've only ever been to one real castle, Dunrobin in Scotland. It was like something out of a fairy tale, and so is this. :)

  12. If you like the architecture as much as me, than you'd love it here. Not only Slovenia, but whole Europe.
I don't think you'd get any good use of a translator book... English is good. All the younger people speak english here, more or less.

  15. That is breath taking. Its so amazing the things that use to be built before all of our modern inventions, all the time and work that went into something so beautiful. Its still standing, still beautiful and built on/into the cliff/rocks (well at least it looks that way from the picture) even 700 years later!
