I know. It's a horrible sight. And that's after a 40 € hair salon experience. She said she *might* be able to fix it, but I'd have to go and buy dye myself and then bring it to her so she would dye my hair. What?! After denying everything... I told her she did a crappy job and told her she'll never see me again. I'm sorry for this, but that's what a dumb bi*ch is. I hate when people are lying. But denying - I mean: I was there! I *so* wish my sister would come with me. Then this would be a whole other story.
Anyway. I had to go and buy hair color, because I don't want to walk around looking like an effing badger. My mother did the dying for me this time and I hope it turned out well. We'll see tomorrow (on natural lighting).
My BF knew how upset I was, so he bought me these eye shadows. My sister says they're ugly, but I love them. Can't wait to use them. =D Yay for good BF's!

Im sorry you had a bad hair dresser experience. I hope it turns out better after your re-dye. The eye shadows are gorgeous but I'm hopeless for coming up with ideas and great combos.

ReplyDeleteI've been a color specialist for nearly 20 years and if I ever do mess up (has yet to happen) I will not only feel horrible but I will fix it for free and at least partially refund them.
Color is tricky if you don't understand it. So Isay if you don't fully and completely understand it you should not do it!
P.S. Your boyfriend has to be the best guy ever!I like the eyeshadows.

ReplyDeleteimam tudi slabe izkušnje z njimi, ker imam prav tako dolge lase in mi vsakič preveč pristrižejo ali pa na vsak način hočejo skrajšati v "kvazi moderno asimetrično fantovsko frizuro". farbam se pa že najmanj pet let redno doma, ker se še sama bolje prefarbam, oni vedno sfalijo ene par pramenov, ponesreči seveda ali pa mi zmeša napačno barvo. :S
eh, pa sem se še jaz olajšala haha :)

As for the dumb bitch stylist, I really think you should, or have someone else for you, speak to the owner/manager. The way she handled it was unprofessional and rude. I started doing hair 10 years ago, and while I've never done *THAT* to someone's hair, there have been times I've been asked to redo something (not enough highlights, too much highlights, etc) and its never been a problem for me. Because a happy client will send me her mom and a couple other clients...but an unhappy client will tell everyone she meets... If you need more help with it, just email me or Evil and we'll hook ya up sugar!

Sedaj sem oranžna s svetlimi prameni. :) Upam, da je tvoja barva primla in da zgledaš dobro. Mogla bi povedat kam si šla, da ne bi nobena več šla tja. :)
ReplyDeleteHow are those ugly?!? Anyways, I've had bad experiences before, but now I refuse to go to a big chain salon. I go to a woman who lives in the same village that I do, doesn't bug me when I don't get my "3 month trim" on time, and overall is a wonderful person. Try to find somebody like that to trust with your hair. I pay a little bit more, but it's totally worth it.

The quadros look effing awesome! The green one would fit the Feline better, but I know YOU will totally rock the bottom one! Oh my I see dark blue outer creases, seafoam middles and light blue inner corners! <3 <3 <3
No, I take that back, just combine the two blue palettes: dark outer corners and creases, and that super vibrant blue from the middle quadro in the inner corners. And do seafoam under eye-lining. Kickass! ;)
ReplyDeleteThe eyeshadows are gorgeous. I would wear one color on my lid and use a neutral (brown) on my crease. Then maybe a darker brown on the outside corners of the lid and blend inward.

dude...that sucks my sister had an awful experience, she wanted chocolate brown and ended up....red....after going back for correction is was....green...so we ended up at a hight end salon and they fixed it beautifully i NEVER want to go to another salon again even tough i have to drive 2 hours to get there...

Yup, we have these kind of hairdressers in sweden to. Since it always seem to happen to younger attractice women, i think it's because of jealousy. The weird thing is that if you go to an expensive salon here it often gets trashed, but at a cheaper one it gets welldone. Strange.. Like the ones thatare trying to make a name of themselves REALLY give it everything and listen to the client, but the ones that already have a big name, stopped caring.
