I realized I have just enough dark blue shimmers to make a comparison post. =) Here are the actors (from L to R): China Glaze Up All Night, Catrice It Blue My Mind, MNY 665 and Essence Deep Blue Sea.
First of all, let's take a look at the color drops.
And on my nails in the same order. I applied two coats of each.
They might look alike in the bottles, but there's a whole other story when you apply them on nails.
China Glaze - Up All Night is the darkest of these four. It looks almost black on low lighting. The application was superb and this polish was almost completely opaque in one coat. Love it!
Catrice - It Blue My Mind is my favorite. It's the kind of blue that's dark enough but it never looks black. It's packed with gorgeous electric blue shimmer. The application is really easy and did I mention I love Catrice's brush? You can't go wrong with this one. It's a must have.
MNY - 665 is a midnight blue. Not too much to say about this one. OK application, OK opacity.
Essence - Deep Blue Sea is a middle choice bewteen ChG Up All Night and Catrice. Really pretty and the quality is great too.
In my Crappy:
I got a package from Marsha. She sent me these beauties:
Can't wait to try them. Thank you so much, Marsha! I love them all. =*
Thanks for looking!
