Holo goodness from Gosh. And a problem child as well. I applied my base coat as usually and then picked Gosh Holographic for my mani. And it didn't work. I had to remove the base coat and apply it over naked nails. You have to be so careful when applying this ''bling bling''. No double strokes or you get bald spots. :/
Gosh, Holographic, 3 coats
Don't get me wrong. The application isn't a total PITA, but you do have to be careful. And the holo effect is so worth it.

There's only one problem: it wears off so fast. I admit that I didn't use any top coat, but still. What do you think - is it worth the trouble?

Thanks for looking!
It wore pretty good for me with base + topcoat.. those bald patches are a PIA!! Two coats seem to be wonderful tho.. it looks fabulous on you.. hate it on me lol still nice to have it though!
ReplyDeletei love it too but find myself not wearing it since you can wear it for max a day.
ReplyDeleteyou could try to use wireless holo topcoat bij china glaze ?
I heard about its dreadful applicaton before, but the holo is soooo pretty though...
ReplyDeletePerhaps is you wore a basecoat but waited till it was completely dry before applying a second coat and a topcoat it would last a little longer?
In vreden truda. Ampak na tvojih nohtih vse izgleda lepo:)<3
ReplyDeleteHey Sasha: You might want to let the first coat totally dry before you apply the second coat. And do use the basecoat and a topcoat. I found this method to be successful when I use my holos. And they are worth it. When you first apply the topcoat it seems to dull the holo, but after it dries, the holo effect comes back. My Nfu Oh holo wears better than the Chanel, but I can speak to the Gosh. But they are all gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHope this helps!
(((hugs))) Marsha
Zelo je lep :)! Škoda, ker se ga ne da dobiti več pri nas :(.
ReplyDeletemy tipp would be (if the formula isn't runny) to aplly a thick coat of polish. I don't have the gosh one to compare but the formula of china glaze's omg collection is perfect for this. sometimes I don't even have to wipe off the excess polish on the bottle neck to prevent it from dripping onto your table,...
ReplyDeletehope that helps :)
When i apply it i do a layer of holo, then a layer or top coat then holo so i end up with 6 coats but it wear longer and the holo effect isn't dulled to much
ReplyDeleteWooow kakšen lepotec! <3 Prekrasno!
ReplyDeleteFrom the looks of your pics, it looks totally worth it! But if I were to apply it, it'd probably be awful and not worth it lol
ReplyDeleteI definitely think this is worth the application/staying problems--I don't have it myself, but it looks absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLove it, where can I buy it? :)
ReplyDeleteToo bad it's a problem child, because it's so pretty otherwise!
ReplyDeleteTotally worth the trouble, looks absolutely amazing!
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous! I also heard about letting the polish cry completely before applying a second coat. I always use a topcoat and base coat. I haven't noticed qny dulling of the holo quality.
ReplyDeleteI love this. I got mine today in superdrug, can't wait to try it.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so good on your nails. It really is a trouble child but its definetly worth all the trouble :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THIS BLOG!!!!!
