Eyeko Cream with Extra Glow

Eyeko came out with a new cream and I got the chance to try it. =)

''New & Exclusive! Eyeko Cream with Extra Glow is a multitasking highlighter with all the benefits of your favourite cult classic Eyeko Cream. This NEW dreamy pink cream is loaded with micro light reflecting pigments perfect for creating a soft focus sheen. Add a flattering highlights to brow and cheek bones, your cupids bow, even collar bones and shins for a touch of moonlit magic.'' (Eyeko)

I never tried any of the Eyeko creams, so I wouldn't know how this one compares to the original Eyeko cream. It's basically a cream with silver micro shimmer. It's supposed to be a 3 in 1 cream: highligher, moisturizer and eye cream. Well, I don't know about moisturizer and eye cream, but it works wonderful as a highlighter.

This cream is really light and non-greasy. When you apply it, it looks kind of too silver and sparkly, but when you spread it and the cream sets... it looks great.

Just applied:

After the cream sets:

I wanted this one to be my new no. 1 highlighter, but it's not. Revlon's Skinlights is still on the first place, because it illuminates better. But (!) since Revlon SL is discontinued, this is a very good second choice. You will get 28 mL of this cream for £8.00 (9 € or $14), that's a good bargain, right?

You can get your Eyeko Cream with Extra Glow in Eyeko online shop. Use my code ''E10655'' (you can find it in the sidebar) to get a free gift with your order.

Thanks for looking!

  1. IS it smelly? Otherwise I'm interested in trying it for moisturing around my eyes.

  2. @Skulda: I used it for my cheeks and I didn't smell anything. I did smell the cream and it has a certain scent (very hard to define) - it's not really good smelling, but it's soooo subtle you won't mind. I promise. Not unless you're gonna sniff it. =)

@Aurora: Yep, it's fun and little goes a long way. Definitely a good product. =)

  4. I read this this morning but didn't comment. Ok, here i go xD.
I love how highlighter creams look but i don't know if i really like them on the face. I use so many products so that my greasy face doesn't shine that i think i would be kinda ironic to use a cream xD i know it's not the same but you get the idea.
