Paint Your Face

I just saw the TV commercial for new L'Oreal product called True Match Roller. I know, I'm late to the party. But come on L'Oreal, are you serious?

Maybe there's another 'lost soul' amongst my readers, so here's a video for you:

Based on the few reviews I've seen/read, this product pretty much sucks. I didn't even think it would be the next must have...

Maybe you can use it to paint your house instead.

Have you tried it? Are you planning on trying it? Let me know.

Thanks for looking!

  1. I wouldnt pay for this product in a million years. All I see is the roller brush causing break-outs and not covering properly. A roller brush is ment for a flat surface, not a 3D face surface.

  2. Ok, seriously this is really irritating. The model has the most perfect skin BEFORE foundation. She didn't need any in the first place so there's no question that she's going to look great after. Why do they never test these products on models who actually need them? That's the way to show that they really work. Maybe that's why they don't do it.

  3. Haha, I'm glad someone agrees with me how utterly stupid this product is. How is using a roller thing any better than using a brush/sponge? I don't get it.

  4. I can't even believe they invented something like this. They just wanted to be original because i don't think they're THAT stupid to think this would actually work. Is good to know i don't have to get excited when i see the commercial on tv.

  5. Yea I saw the commercial a while back, and I was thinking.. how the hell?

Must be a sexy image for us to be sitting in front of the mirror while wheeling on our face. haaha!

  6. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I first saw this advertised. I just sat utterly baffled! I can't see any make-up artists swapping brushes and sponges for mini rollers any time soon, either. Why try and fix what isn't broken?

  7. I tried it, I just had to and it sucked. The amount of work to get this on all your face and even and blended is ridiculous. I knew it wouldn't work but I just HAD to haha.

And is it just me or is it kinda unsanitary?

  8. The roller is not only ineffective at applying foundation but also not very hygienic. Let's keep rollers in the paint aisle!

  9. I don't like any of the drugstore or department store foundation except for Bare Escentuals. Even so, this roller thing looks just like a stupid gimmick,to get people like us to think they're purchasing something innovative, when they're not.

  10. I think the roller would make it really look like you painted your face!! I can't imagine this would work well at all. Looks like a roller I'd use to paint a Barbie house.

  11. There isn't any way that this could possibly work correctly. Our faces aren't flat! Might work right on your forehead. Utterly ridiculous.

  12. I always thought this was gimicky...and the model in the video already has great skin so you can't really tell how good it is.

  13. I saw this product in the store the other day & was like WTF? Why would anyone just roll makeup on their skin & let it set there? If I wear foundation I like to blend it so it doesn't look like masky crap.

And that model- it seriously bugs the living hell out of me when people with good skin wear foundation. If your skin looks good- SKIP the foundation! All it does is add a suffocating layer of crap to your skin. My ex's 14 year old sister had absolutely FLAWLESS skin and she used to wear such heavy foundation she looked like a mannequin. What's the point?
