Essence - Carrie

I wanted to show you this one a few days ago, but things have been just too hectic. I'm not going into details in this post...

This post is named only by Essence Carrie, but I wear it over Essence Mr. Big on both photos. Here are the color drops of both.

Mr. Big reminded me of a band and Carrie reminds me of a song. Of course. =) I guess this is a very musical couple.
I can't say much about this polish. I found it hard to apply, but I guess that's just me. I'm not really good at applying these kind of glitter polishes. Other than that, I like this combo, although I'm not too crazy about it.

Essence, Mr. Big, 2 coats + Essence, Carrie, 1 coat

What do you think of this couple? Should Mr. Big be with Carrie or not?

*Product was sent to me by Essence. Read my disclosure policy for more information.

Thanks for looking!

  1. Ahhh, some good ol' Upplands Väsby music! :D I don't know about these square glitters... I have one as well, Louise I think (or was it Thelma?), and I haven't used it yet. I don't know... I like glitters sometimes, but... Square? Very hesitant to this. Other than that, these particular ones you have here mean absolutely nothing to me. Essence should've sent you something more wicked. ;)

  2. I'd say that the colours fit well together, Mr. Big goes well with Carrie. It would be hard for me not to wear an added coat of Carrie but that's just because I would love to have some more sparkles :)
Nice work here, and thanks for sharing!

  4. I agree with Lolaa, the glitter is too sparse, needs another coat or two. Those larger glitters are hard to work with, they don't like to apply evenly.

Carrie and Mr. Big are from Sex and the City, a tv show I have never seen, but is very popular with many US women. They are played by Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth. I love him in old Law and Order tv shows.

  5. @Feline: Essence isn't wicked enough for me. XD

@Lolaa: I agree with your first sentence. =)

@Helena: Of course not. I'm not a sheer, OPI, frosty, duochrome fan either and I'm still here. ;D

@Donna: LOL =D Thanks for letting me know. ;D

  7. I definitely like this combo, but I think I'd prefer Carrie over a contrasting color. I really like the square glitter.
