Kleancolor - Moondance

Thank you Tiffani for sending this one my way! Here a little something this shade reminded me of - CLICK.

I know you don't care about my blabbing and I bet you just want to look at the photos... Well, here you have it.

I thought this one is charcoal, but it's actually olive green. Color drop:

Kleancolor, Moondance, 2 coats

This one was easy to work with. I really like the formula, the brush is OK, drying time is rather fast and overall - it's a great product. If you're into this kind of glitter, go get it! The only bad thing about this polish is the smell. I have no words to describe it, you have to smell it for yourselves. ;)

Oh, and this one also requires the ''acetone stroking'' just like China Glaze Fortune Teller. For those of you who don't feel like reading my old post again - take a paper handkerchief, soak it in acetone and lightly stroke your nails after nail polish has dried. That will remove the dark color from the glitter, allowing it to shine. Thanks again Stiletto for this great tip!

I'm not a fan of glitter, but this looks kind of cool. What do you say?

Thanks for looking!

  2. I would have liked it better without the glitter, honestly. It's a beautiful color but since the glitter isn't "uniform", it looks a bit sloppy ? I'm probably just crazy..

  3. I usually avoid such glitter, but here -- I kinda like it.
Looks like sprinkled gunmetal with a layer of olive oil. It's weird so, yeah, interesting polish!

  6. I wasn't sold on the bar glitter plus regular glitter plus shimmer when Sally Hansen did it in the Xtreme Wears, and this Kleancolor hasn't convinced me either. I like the base color a lot, though.

  7. That's such an interesting color! I've never heard of the acetone swiping before. Good tip.

  8. I think the glitter makes an otherwise unremarkable polish look very unique :)

  9. It's a little hard to see the olive green. A charcoal olive green maybe! Whatever, it's pretty. Like that mix of glitters.

  12. I usually love glitter, but this one is not wonderful, not enough glitter on it, it seems poor, to me of course.
