NOTD and New Chocolate

Today was my father's birthday party so I spent all day with the people I love and that includes both of my lovely nieces. =) It's been a good day.

Color Club, Catwalk Queen, 3 coats


I can't say a lot about this polish. It's pretty, but that's it. It's a dark purple shimmer and it needs three coats to get the desired opacity. Not impressed.


I believe I haven't showed you my new cell phone yet. It's LG BL 20 also called ''New Chocolate''. It's not that new anymore, but it is new to me. I was a loyal Nokia user, but I guess I'm not anymore. This little thing caught my eye and I had to get it. And it was only 1€ with my new mobile operator contract. The commercial for this telephone is the most epic one I've ever seen. Check it out HERE. =D


I can use it as a mirror also. XD And every morning, when it's time for me to take my pills, my little ''chocolate'' sings for me: ''Good morning, good morning....'' =)


I have to add that I'm not too much into technology. I don't really care what my phone can or can not do. This time I only wanted it to have a camera. And it does - a 5 megapixel one. I don't know about the lens, but it makes decent photos. In my ''Missing in Action'' post there are some photos I took with it: both cats, Eliksir beer bottle and Sprite bottle.

I'd really like to know: which brand is your mobile phone?

Hey, I remember this one! It was around Christmas when we spent extra family-time together playing cards. And Vita was so small... just look at her in that mini monkey sling. Awwww...


There are ''hidden'' departments too! And they're full of photos too.


Now I can see Suzi and Vita whenever/wherever I want to.


Yeah, I cried when I saw this present. And then I showed it to my boyfriend and cried again. Now my head hurts. A lot (it always does when I'm crying). XD

Finger Paints - Blissfully Blue

My nails are so embarrassing short. I bumped my middle nail while catching the bottles Vita was throwing and it broke. I don't like the look of unevenly long nails, so I cut them all down. They're ugly now. And this is as short as they can get without bloodbath.

Just because my nails make me so unhappy, I chose a special nail polish for my nubbins. It was sent to me by a very special person and I love it!

Finger Paints, Blissfully Blue, 3 coats


This is my first Finger Paints nail polish and I like it very much. It's opaque, it applies smoothly and it dries fast. I still had to apply 3 coats, but that was due to streaking and my clumsiness.


Do you own any FP nail polish? Are the other shades as nice as this one too (quality wise)?

Missing in Action

I went to see my BF: He's at home ''babysitting'' for his grandma. =) That's why I was missing in action. During this time...

... I got to see Piksi and Bozho (and I also got to try out my new telephone camera).


... I drank some of the best Slovenian beer (Laško). Eliksir is *the* best beer ever. ;)


... I ate cheesburger in the park, drank Sprite and fed the pigeons. Yeah, I was the crazy bird lady for a short while.


... I saw what a ''nazi'' store looks like. XD


And all this time Guppy 64 was on my nails.


I also got a *great* deal on this biker fake leather jacket in New Yorker. I've always wanted a jacket like this one... =)

Are you ready to see the most amazing blue nail polish ever made? Hide Charla, you have nothing on this one...


This is THE color of this summer, IMHO.

''Oh, dear Lord'', were my first thoughts when I saw it. It's royal, it's amazing and simply GORGEOUS. This royal blue is so intense it's almost blurple (still in a royal way). Photos can't capture it's full glory. It's so much better IRL. Stunning blue jelly base with turquoise micro shimmer... It will just leave you speechless.


I used 3 coats, because I'm not a huge fan of jelly finishes. The application was surprisingly easy and this one immediately became one of my favorite shades. I don't have to say anything else but this: it's a MUST HAVE, ladies!


Pure awesomeness. Even Gaia likes it. =) Click on the photos to make them larger.

New in my Closet

I can't remember when was the last time that I went clothes shopping. Well, if I don't count Monday. I got myself 2 tops (New Yorker) and a swimsuit (Ann Christine).

Roadtrip

Actually, I went swimsuit shopping with my sister and niece, but the drive took longer than the actual shopping, so... =) That's what you can expect when going somewhere with a baby.

My make up was very simple. I did my eyebrows, made a thin line with a black eyeshadow along my upper lashline and finish it up with mascara. I used Illamasqua bronzer in Writhe on my cheeks. I only picked two pieces of jewellery this time: lion ring and snake earring (which is a piercing in a way).


China Glaze Evening Seduction was my manicure color. Two coats of this vampy blackened plum was enough.


Hooray for boobies!!! (I have this Tourette like episodes all the time)


China Glaze Evening Seduction was also my pedi color. I know I went against everything we (nail junkies) believe in and did my mani AND pedi in the same color. But you know what - I like it when my pedi and mani match. *runs and hides*
You can also see my weird gladiator sandals or as my sister likes to call them ''Christ's sandals''. :/ They look better in real life.


I bought myself something too. I'll show it to you in my next post. :)

It Looks Familiar

I was just going through my Google Reader and I saw a new nail polish brand on Prim and Polished blog. I'm always interested in new brands, so I checked it out. The brand is called A Beautiful Life.

This might sound weird, but their swatches looked familiar to me. Here they are:


Nuit and Blues reminded me of something else... Oh, now I remember... Diamond Cosmetics swatches:


I'm not saying this are the same, or that they're dupes, 'cause I've never even seen A Beautiful Life polishes IRL, but you can do the math. Shroom and Dirty & Flirty are both champagne frosts while Vette looks more like Tranquility or Oh, Tiff than Serendipity (based on swatches made by Gina from Prim and Polished).

Both A Beautiful Life and Diamond Cosmetics polishes are big 3 free. DC polishes retail for 2.25 USD and ABL for 12 USD.

My father bought two giant rabbits. I'm not sure which breed excatly they are, but they both have a pedigree. And they're mean. :/

Rabbits may appear so cute and cuddly and soft, but underneath it all, they're violent b*tches. Yeah, I know this kind... I'll keep an eye on you, you giant vicious rabbit. XD

Lacura - Cyclam

I purchased this polish in Hofer (Aldi) store for 2 €. It's completely opaque in one coat but also a bit goopy and needed some thinner. The color speaks for itself. Candy-like!

Greeting Card for Feline
