I wasn't ''dupe hunting'' I just wanted to see how these look next to each other. Let's start with the medium blue cremes.

These are in the same order as on the photo above (from top to bottom). Andreia 11, Pure Ice French Kiss, Rivka Lia and China Glaze Bermuda Breakaway.

I used 2 coats of each. See how purple-ish Bermuda Breakaway looks? So pretty.

And here are the light blue cremes:

I used 2 coats of Blissfully Blue and Luiza and 3 coats of Factory Girl and Cigarette. Finger Paints is the most opaque and Risque is the least opaque. Cigarrete dries to a satin finish.

Which ones would you choose?
Thanks for looking!

Nice comparisons :) Bermuda Breakaway is my favourite medium blue <3
ReplyDeletePrav vsi so mi všeč, zmaga pa French kiss <3
ReplyDeleteod prve usporedbe definitivno china glaze... od druge cigarette - krasne boje :-)
ReplyDeleteLuiza and 11 for me :)
ReplyDeleteBermuda Breakaway is my all time favorite blue :) It is also the first China Glaze polish I ever got! So definitely a winner :)
ReplyDeleteI love all the medium blues you've chosen...I wouldn't be able to pick just one. For the light blues...is the Risque a Matte finish? I kinda like that idea, but I'd pick the Color Club for sure.
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing these!
Bermuda Breakaway is so pretty! Almost ridiculously so.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you posted CG Factory Girl dupes. I have Factory Girl and I love the color to bits, but.. I don't know if it's just my bottle, but it's so streaky and watery. How did you get it to look so perfectly smooth and opaque in your swatch? It looks lovely on you, by the way, like most everything does. ;)
ReplyDelete@Elizabeth: I wouldn't say Cigarrete has a matte finish, it's more like a satin or semi-matte finish. =) If that makes any sense to you.
ReplyDelete@Sierra: Factory Girl is pretty watery, that's why I used three coats. Don't use coats that are too thick or too thin. You have to use the right amount of polish for the streaks to even out. Hope you figure it out. =)
I love the darker blues. Great comparisons. The minty blues look so similar! And how did they come up with the name "Cigarette"? Seriously.
ReplyDeleteMegan. This risque´s collection of was designed by a really famous stylist (Reinaldo Lorenço), and all the colors of this collection are related to fashion things..
ReplyDeleteCigarrete is a type of very tight pants.(some kind of a denin).
:)
Like the bermuda break away. am sooo looking for a nice royal blue in cream but nothing yet
ReplyDeleteamazing ! did you like the brazilians nail polishes ? I'm pretty happy to see this in your blog... nice comparations ;)
ReplyDeleteFrench Kiss is my favorite! :)
ReplyDeleteChina Glaze Bermuda Breakaway!
ReplyDeleteLove all those baby blues. I just own the China Glaze. Just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI really like Cigarrete on you!
ReplyDeleteDid you like the matte/satin effect?
@Sarah: I don't mind the satin finish, but I do mind applying 3 coats. =) I guess all Risque creme polishes are more like jellies.
ReplyDeleteI ordered CC Blue Light, it said "Blue Light (Factory Girl)" so I hope its the same one!
