Wanna Get Essence Glisten Up! Nail Polish? - CLOSED

I purchased Glisten Up! polish for one of my Readers, but as she already found it herself, I'm giving this one to someome else. Glisten Up! polish is soon going to be a ''hard to find'' shade - yep, it's going out of the regular Essence line.

You want it? Leave me a comment with your e-mail address. I'll pick a winner from all of the comments posted in 24 hours from now (March 30th, 10:38 AM, CET).

Spring is not only time for bold colors, it's also time for skirts and stockings. =) I went completetly crazy in the last two weeks. And these are just my new ones... *coughs*

Purples in all patterns and shades. And a blurple too.

You can't go wrong with black.

For that extra oomph. =)

Would you wear these?

China Glaze - High Hopes

It's spring and it's finally time for some strong neon colors. Well, High Hopes isn't neon per se. Still, it's so bright you won't see the difference anyway. =)

Note: Sorry for color-unrealistic photos. My camera would rather die than take a proper photo of this one.

High Hopes is a bright coral shade from the Up & Away collection for spring 2010. I know you remember it, it was one of the most popular China Glaze collections. =) I can even bet you own a shade or two yourself (if not the whole U&A).

China Glaze, High Hopes, 3 coats

Bonus: I struggled to get a photo of my nails are this rose together. I think my camera needs a vacation now.

So, tell me: which shades from the Up & Away collection do you own. Are you planning on wearing them any time soon?

Taylor Made Minerals Pigment Swatches

Remember my last Taylor Made Minerals post? Yes, I placed an order. I just got the pigments today and I already have swatches for you.

This is how the pigments look in the jars.

And here they are swatched on the back of my hand. I used Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy as a base.

I couldn't fit them on my hand all at once...

What do you think?
I have to mention that all of these look even prettier in real life. Lapis and Dusk are the least pigmented, but still pretty good. I'm satisfied with my choice.

I tried Centaur and did a quick look with my 88 matte eyeshadow palette.

I'm sad that TMM is going out of bussiness...

Blue Orchid

''You took a white orchid turned it blue.'' (The White Stripes, Blue Orchid)

Isn't this the most gorgeous orchid ever? It goes so well with the most awesome video ever made. <3 Perfection.

a England - Tristam

Rest your eyes, dear Reader. Just rest your eyes on this gorgeous shimmery blue...

I guess I saved the best for last (after my review of Lady of the Lake and Galahad). Tristam and Lady of the Lake may seem similar in bottle, but once you apply them, you'll see the difference clearly. Tristam is a true blurple with a lot of holographic shimmer. I can not tell you how awesome this shade is. But I guess you can see it for yourselves.

a England, Tristam, 2 coats

This polish will cause you no troubles. The brush, formula, application, drying time ... everything is A-OK! If you're planning on placing an order - this one is a must have. Get it, get it, get it!

Price: £9.50 for 13 mL (~ €11)

* Avon Perfect Wear liquid eyeliner pen

I can't remember which mascara I used...

Here Comes the Sun

The spring is here! I took my camera and went outside. These are the flowers that grow here in spring time.

Primrose (Primula Vulgaris) - this is one of the first flowers you can see in Slovenia in spring time. The name ''primrose'' comes from ''prima rosa'' (latin) which means ''first rose''. Thank you, Wikipedia. =)

Snowdrops (Galanthus Nivalis)

Hellebore (Helleborus)

Wolf's Bane (Eranthis Hyemalis)

Spring Crocus (Crocus Vernus)

Crocus (don't know which exact species).

Spring Heath (Erica Carnea)

And this is my BF's family dog. His name is Lun and he's a german shepherd.

Once you're used to having chihuahuas around, this dog can look pretty big, strong and heavy. Excuse my messy hair, I just got up. ;)

Something Old, Something Blue...

Not at home. No nail polish photos taken in my Crappy. But I do have an old photo of my old mani for you. This is Essence Choose Me - best known for being a dupe of Zoya's Charla, Orly's Halley's Comet and possibly even OPI's Catch Me in Your Net. It looks blue on most of the photos, but you can see it's really green. It kind of matches my parents' car color.

Something blue: this is a make up look I did with my 120 eyeshadow palette. In my review from November, I said the colors don't want to stick to my make up brush. Well, I guess it was just the upper part of the eyeshadows. Once you use them a couple of times and remove the top layer of the shades, the colors stick better. I'm satisfied. =) Now I can really recommend you to get the palette.

Some of you noticed my new earrings in my Shop 'Til I Drop post. I got them in C&A store. They were discounted and I only payed 2 € for them. Good bargain.

Born Pretty Rhinestone Wheel

Long, long time ago I got this rhinestone wheel from Born Pretty store. It's time for me to finally tell you about it. This is how it looks like:

These rhinestones are round shaped and come in 12 different colors. They have a flat back which allows you to stick the rhinestones to whichever surface you want pretty easily.

I used these rhinestones on my nails: First I applied Carlo di Roma nail polish, stamped my nails with Bundle Monster image plates and black nail polish and then I added one rhinestone on each nail.

I also used them as a part of my eye make up look which you've seen before.

Price: 3.33 USD per wheel

Where to buy? Born Pretty online store.

Yeah, these rhinestones are pretty nice if you're into nail art. I, personally, find them too big for use on nails. That's why I gave them to my sister - I bet she'll do some serious greeting cards with them. =)

Sweet Love

My BF bought me two Essence eyeshadows. I know he'd want me to try them on, so I did. =) Here are the color drops:

And here's a quick look I did with them. Disco Queen is very dark once applied. It looks grey on my lids and not purple like it does in the pot.

Products used:

* Urban Decay Primer Potion
* Essence Disco Queen eyeshadow
* Essence Black Goddess eyeshadow
* 88 Eyeshadow Palette (silver)
* Manhattan X-act eyeliner in True Black
* S-he Volume Boost mascara in Violet

Look, I got lilies! One of my favorite flowers.

And sweets - Rafaello and chocolate. All from my dear one. <3
