This Cream Pigment truly is a multi-purpose product. You can use it on your eyes, lips, cheeks and other body parts. Anywhere you want to, basically. And that's exactly what I did. First, I used it on my lips. I used my Kim 311 lip brush to apply it and voila:
I love the way it looks on my lips, but the color doesn't cooperate with the rest of my face. I could totally pull it off if I was Viola though. This cream pigment isn't too glossy or soft, so you're gonna need some sort of brush to apply it or just dab the color on with your fingertips. Conditioning your lips with a lip balm prior to pigment application is a must. This pigment can dry out your lips just a little and the color will glide on better over small amount of lip balm.
After I finished playing with Depravity on my lips, I used it as an eyeshadow base. And it makes a wonderful one! I used a flat brush (small concealer type of brush) to apply it to my eyelid, smeared it with my fingertips and that was it. I used Pure Luxe Pigment in Charisma over it and it looked great. What do you think?
I also used Depravity on my cheeks, but the application was to hard for me to try it again. Since this is a solid product and you can't use it as a regular blusher you can have a lot of problems applying it to your skin. Well, the application itself isn't the biggest problem - it's the blending part.
+ Very good color payoff.
+ Makes a great eyeshadow base.
+ Multi-purpose product (can use it on eyes, lips, cheeks...).
+ Buildable coverage.
+ Long-lasting color.
- The packaging (I have troubles with opening it).
- Hard to blend (if you want to use it on your cheeks).
Do I recommend it? It's a good, quality product and if you can find a way to use it in your everyday make up routine, than I have to say yes. The most important things for me are the color payoff and lasting power. The application can be a bit tricky at first, but it's very easy if you use a flat brush. I have to emphasise that it makes a great eyeshadow base and that doesn't mean it's a great eyeshadow primer - it can start to crease, especially if your eyelids are oily. It's a creamy pigment after all.
