Catrice, Up in the Air, 2 coats + Essence, Out of My Mind, 1 coat
Now that Up in the Air and I made up, I can use it as a base for layering as well. Isn't it nice when we all get along? The look of these two polishes layered is just gorgeous, but it's too frosty for me to wear. Too shiny. I'm not sure why, but I believe that cremes and shimmers suit me way better than pearly or frosty finishes. Is that even possible - that some finishes look better on you, just like some colors work with your skintone and some don't? Maybe it's just my taste, I don't know.
What do you think of this combo? Would you wear it?

I love this combo! And I would definitely wear it. I think I'm gonna visit the Essence counter this week ^^ I'm deseprate for new nail polishes.

ReplyDeleteI love this combo ^^ But I know what you mean when something feels to shiny :-P Sometimes I'll layer it with matte topcoat and most of the time I like it much better then :)

ReplyDeleteI loooove it! I would definitely wear it. In fact I sometimes wear Barry M Cyan Blue with Rimmel Daisy Chain layered on top and it looks very similar to this x

I think it looks great! And I don't know about different finishes suiting better but I know that I like some of them better than others :)

ReplyDeleteI really like this combo, too. But to be honest I wouldn't wear it (at least not in the near future) because I'm just too much in love with Out of my mind over black. That looks like some gorgeous shimmery bug I recently discovered.
