Essence - Crack Me! Silver

I'm not in a mood to chit chat, so I'm just gonna show you the photos. This is the new Essence Crack Me! in Silver.

Wet n Wild, Black Creme, 1 coat + Essence, Crack Me! Silver, 1 coat

I'm not gonna deny it, I could do a better job at the application. But I think it's still nice and I love how it looks over black. It makes me think of old armours from the battlefields. I have the most weird mind connections, I know.

Like what you see?

I'm still waiting for my gold crackle... If anyone can get me that gorgeous gold glitter crackle from 17 Cosmetics Liloo wrote about, let me know. I'd be more than grateful. =)

Thanks for looking and commenting!

  1. I don't really like the crackle effect the Essence topcoat creates. I like to see the base colour underneath.

  3. Cracks better than black and white. The best cracks for me are made by Golden Rose, Graffitti collection.

  4. Got this one myself last weekend, wearing it over Herome - Fes now. Subtle but awesome combo, like a cloud with silver lining :)

  12. I bought the silver crackle polish by Essence and it doesn't work on my nails. I do have other crackle polishes by other brands and they work fine, but this one won't. Where am I going wrong?? Do I need to apply a very thick, or rather thin, layer?? And why does it take so long to slightly crackle, when in fact the other brands take just a few seconds?? I would love to have the same effect that it did in this photo, what do I need to do, please??

  14. @marox79: It's not my favorite effect either, but it's cheap and in silver. Good enough.

    @Irena B: Če bi jaz imela možnost dobiti P2 srebrni crackle, potem tudi ne bi rabila tega... =)

    @Helga: I agree.

    @*ALE*: I can't tell for sure, but here's how I use it. I apply neither thick nor thin layer of cracking top coat over my base color. Base color must be completely dry. And don't go over your nail too many times. Try to paint them with three quick swipes. It works for me.
