Essence, Galactic Black, 2 coats + Essence, Feels So Good, 1 coat
It doesn't look too special, right? But wait... If I take a photo from a different angle... voila:
Now it looks special! I thought this was gonna be a regular rose shimmer top coat, but I was wrong. This honey is a shadeshifter. It's a shy one, but it's a shadeshifter nonetheless. The combo with the black base looks exactly what I wanted my LA Girl in Rockstar to look like. See the similarity between the color drop below and the photo above?
I'm not too fond of pink/rose shimmery shades, but this one got my attention. I think I'm keeping this one. =)
What do you think of this top coat/combo?

ReplyDeleteNi pa še prišel na vrsto, ampak bo definitivno kmalu na nohtkih. Rock star laka pa nimam, ampak mogoče ga bom slojila čez Punk. :)
I think it's pretty! I'd definitely put a chunky pink glitter topcoat over it though for a bit more...WHAM.

ReplyDeleteUh pa ravno tega sem imela v rokah, pa se mi ni zdel nič kaj zelo posebnega. No bo treba še malo pogledati naokoli, ker izgleda čudovito.

ReplyDeleteI recently got these topcoats as well but haven't tried this one yet. I think it's too cool toned for my skintone. I really like Waking up in Vegas though; the flakie beauty.

I don't know; maybe I don't need a pink shimmer top coat even if it shift color a little bit. I was thinking about Rock top coat, too, as I was afraid it gave a dull effect but it seems (from a swatch I saw somewhere)I was wrong.

And I haven't bought it. It just seemd like a pink shimmer in the bottle, and I thought I'll never use it! Oh well ... you win some you lose some, and frankly, everything looks amazing on your nails. :)
ReplyDeleteIf you walk around with your hand upside down, your nails will look gorgeous. Just kidding. This does add a nice look to the black polish. How's your niece doing? I hope she's home from the hospital & doing better.
