''Freak is a concoction of dangerously exotic unconventional flowers which Illamasqua has unshamedly blended together to celebrate the night.''
Don't you just love the tilted bottle with the little silver snail on it? Its freakishly innovative design really blew my mind. By the look of it, I couldn't tell if it's a ladies or gentelmans perfume.
Black Davana, Opium Flower and Belladonna (they bewitch the senses into uncontrollable lust and passion)
Poison Hemlock, Datura and Queen of the Night blossom (they caress and kiss)
Aromas of Frankincense, Oud and Myrrh (they addictively mesmerise and capture the senses)
I don't wanna be captain obvious, but this package I got was very well thought out. Strings of purple paper as a base and little multicolored plastic strings with a snail shell painted silver. Don't those multicolored strings remind you of trails that snails leave? Brilliant!
Here's my little bottle of Freak. The scent was very familiar to me, but not because it reminded me of some other perfume (it most certainly doesn't smell like any other perfume I sniffed) - it's because my previous Illamasqua package smelled the same. =)
I'm still not completely sure, because I didn't get a confirmation from Hayley yet, but I bet it's the same scent. Maybe you read a review or two about the Theatres of the Nameless collection and maybe the other bloggers mentioned how good the package smelled ... It's very hard for me to describe the scent and it's impossible to review it. We all have different taste and it's the same when it comes to fragrance. Here's what I can tell you about it. It's Illamasqua. That can tell you it's definitely one of a kind. It's quite strong, floral, sweet and yet somehow fresh. I find it daring and innocent, strong and gentle, seductive and calm. I love my Freak.
Today (Monday 3rd October) is when the pre-order facility goes live on www.illamasqua.com and Thursday 20th October will be the official launch. ---> Illamasqua Freak site
