Illamasqua Pure Pigment in Berber

Sticking to the color scheme ... In my previous post I mentioned that Guppy nail polish I'm currently wearing (Guppy Sanding Fruit Extraxt in #8) looks similar to the Illamasqua Pure Pigment in Berber. I haven't yet introduced you to Berber properly and now it's the perfect time.

Berber is one of the shades from the newest Illamasqua Theatre of the Nameless Collection. This Pure Pigment is named after Anita Berber who was a German actress, dancer and prostitute. As all of the Illamasqua's TotN collection inspirations, she also lived in the Weimar period.

You've seen the swatches before, but here they are again in case you need to refresh your memory.

Most valuable things in the world are the ones that are rare and unique. That's exactly what Berber makes me think of. It's very unique. I have a lot of eyeshadows, but nothing compares to it. It's neither red nor orange and it contains a gold shimmer. It's bold and one of a kind.

Here's a look I did with it:

Products used:
* Urban Decay Primer Potion
* Illamasqua Pure Pigment in Berber
* i.d. bareMinerals pigment in Patio Party
* 88 Matte Eyeshadow Palette (black, nude and white)
* Essence Eyeliner Pen
* Max Factor 2000 Calories Mascara

What do you think: Are they close enough?

You can buy Illamasqua Pure Pigment in Illamasqua online store for £15.50.

*The product was sent to me by the company.

Thanks for looking and commenting!
