The bottle resembles the American Apparel one, doesn't it? Very nice shape for stashing, if I may say.
And without further ado, here's how it looks on my nails.
Nail Girls, Matte Purple, 2-3 coats
Let me clear out the 2-3 coats thing first. I managed to get an uneven amount of polish on the brush, so I used 2 slightly thicker coats on some nails and 3 thin coats on others. Nothing to be worried about, this polish applies very nicely. I like the brush, but the plastic part of it, is a bit too long for my liking. Just like with the American Apparel polishes - it has to be longer because of the bottle shape and it makes it a little harder to apply the polish. I shouldn't complain that much though. I didn't have to do any clean-up, so I guess it's not that bad. The polish doesn't really dry to a matte finish, it's rather satin-y looking. I have to use a top coat most of the time, to make my manicure last longer. Here's how Matte Purple looks with top coat.
Nail Girls, Matte Purple, 2-3 coats + Essence, Sealing Top Coat, 1 coat
I'm still not completely sure, but I think I like it a little better when it's glossy. What about you?
