It's My Essence Party

I purchased two of the new Essence mono matte eyeshadows not so long ago. It's been about time to finally try them out. Well, at least one of them...

As you can see from the title of the post, I decided to try out It's My Party eyeshadow. It's a bit lighter teal than Freestyle, but the pigmentation is good nonetheless. Perfect match for my oh-so-wanted Essence Meet You in Budapest eyeliner.

Products used for this look:

* Urban Decay Primer Potion
* Essence It's My Party eyeshadow
* Essence Werewolf or Vampire duo eyeshadow
* Essence Black Mania eyeliner
* Essence Meet You in Budapest eyeliner
* Essence Multi Action mascara

Now that's a lot of Essence products. As you can see, I like them a lot, but you have to have luck while picking your items at their display. Some of the products are great, some are OK and some are just bad and not worth the money. Although they're usually cheap. I have to say the quality is getting better in my opinion. For instance: I never liked their eyeliners, but now I'm totally in love with their Black Mania khol pencil. It's way better than my previous favorite - Gosh Khol & Contour pencil. That's why I use it all the time when I'm doing my make up. It's great and it's only 2 €.

Enough blabbering...

Here's another photo of my make up with my nails. I'm wearing H&M nail polish in Moody Model. Isn't it pretty? I don't know what's up with me and teal color. I can't seem to get enough of it. Polish was easy to apply, the formula is good and I only wish it was a bit more opaque. I applied slightly thicker coats and got away with two of them. =) Thanks for this one, Feline!

What are your thoughts about Essence cosmetics? Do you like/use it or not?

It's Good To Be Home

After more than a week, I finally got to sleep in my own bed again. And you know what that means: Jimi, Aishila and I were cuddling all night long. Jimi usually sleeps at the foot of the bed, but not Aishila. She's most comfortable with her ass in my face. Something like this.

I can't be mad though. She turns around every now and then and gives me a ''nose kiss''. Awwww...

Rimmel - Steel Grey

Boring nails, boring make up. Just like the weather today.

Rimmel, Steel Grey, 3 coats

I wish this polish was a 2 coater. I hate the brush. I really hate it. It's way to big for my taste. And I don't say that a lot.

Here's a bonus neutral eye look. Bleh.

Envy Me

So, this is the polish I was wearing with my over the top make up. It's by H&M and it's called Envy Me. A gorgeous shade of green with shimmer. And you know what - it's a one coater. I highly recommend it!
Thank you for sending it to me, Feline!

Another thing I have to show you is my new rose necklace I got from my boyfriend. Loving it!

Midnight Murder

I got a package from Sweden the other day. It was sent to me by beautiful Feline. Thank you so much, honey!

One of the products she sent me, was an eyeshadow by Viva la Diva in Midnight Murder. It's from the Rocks Collection 2010 and I love it. Deep midnight blue is definitely my kind of color. Especially for eye make up. While I was at it, I decided to use my Illamasqua False Eyelashes too. This is what I came up with...

Product used:

* Urban Decay Primer Potion
* NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Slate
* Viva la Diva Eyeshadow in Midnight Murder
* 88 Matte Eyeshadow Palette (hot pink and taupe)
* Essence Black Mania Eye Pencil
* Essence No Limits Power Boost Mascara
* Illamasqua False Eyelashes no. 26

I know some of you aren't too fond of false eyelashes. Here's a look without them. It looks kind of boring compared to the photos above, doesn't it?

These false eyelashes cast some serious shadows on my face. Maybe I could use them in the summer instead of sunglasses ... and as a fan. But seriously - I love these.

P.S: I'm wearing NYX Round Lipstick in Fig.

What do you think of this look? Would you wear it?

*False Eyelashes were sent to me by Illamasqua. Read my disclosure policy for more information.

Feathered

Something is happening. Finally. I'll show you the look tomorrow, but until then, you can only guess what the colors are. =)

I'm off now. Gonna watch Sleepy Hollow... It's been a VERY tiring/depressive day today.

Perfect Combo

I don't like layering at all. But this time it's different. This one is a perfect combo.

A combination of Colorama and Savvy nail polish.

Colorama, Noite de Gala, 2 coats + Savvy, Ultra Violet, 1 coat

Right after I layered these two polishes the outcome reminded me of something I've seen a while back: Peel Me a Gobi Grape. I'm not saying this layering is a dupe of that OPI's very hard to find polish, because I've never seen PMaGG in real life, but it's just as awesome. What do you think?

Oh, the magical awesome-ness! I bet this is the color of unicorn's liver.

My New Shoes

Not only chains and whips... shoes excite me as well. These are my new ones.

Rocket Dog Rampup Boots - I was lucky to get these for only £37 (shipping included) off Ebay. They retail for £75! My Undercover 30-hole and Getta Grip 14-hole boots now have competition. Oh yeah.

Jennika Platform Ankle Boots - these are so darn comfortable.

And a pair of no name knee high boots. Love them!

Pain Is For Pleasure

'Cause I may be bad, but I'm perfectly good at it
Sex in the air, I don't care, I love the smell of it
Stickss and stones may break my bones,
But chains and whips excite me.

The genre is a bit off, but the message is clear. =D
