She's a very lively cat and it was painful to see her like that. She was feeling much better after some tender love and care and today - she's her old self again. I'm glad the surgery is behind us and that everything went OK. *sigh of relief*

I realized I need some new Sinful polishes after I saw Anutka's Sinful Rise and Shine post on Wacky Laki. And Rise and Shine should be one of the new shades in my collection.
Like a Candy Shop posted about Kleancolor's Bite Me. I don't know why, but it looks so much better on her that it does on me. OK, maybe it has something to do with her perfect nubbins.

I also saw Let the right on in as a coincidence since it was on when I was watching TV. I had heard about it but it was not at all what I thought. I really like that it's such a different vampire movie. No flashy american teens or anything :P

ReplyDeleteI also read the book so I probably won't be watching the film. If I read the books first, the films usually disappoint me. I'm glad Arya is feling better. Poor little thing but it needs to be done right?!

ReplyDeleteArya is so cute <3 i understand your feelings, I had 6 cats, all girls, and each time they came back from the vet for that surgery it was sooo painful and sad to see them like that !

Ooh, poor Arya. But this is the best thing you could do for her. I hope she gets better soon.
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain about your kitty. This past summer we had to take my cat in for a spay, and she was the same way. She had to wear a cone on her head, and for the first few days she would not move off my bed. I felt so sad and never wanted to leave her. But gradually she got better, after a time she started getting up to drink and eat, and eventually she was all back to normal. :)

ReplyDeleteI always find that the original movie is usually the best. I'd love to see the Swedish films. The books are always better than the films. You have all that detail plus your own imagination. Glad your cat was spayed & is better.
ReplyDeleteHa, tudi naši sosoedi so sterilizirali svoje muce in vidim da so bile tudi one čisto hecne in neaktivne prvih nekaj dni, ampak zdaj so pa že uredu. Mislim, da je to fajn način, ker je mačk (sploh nezaželjenih) preveč in navijam da bi tudi naše ljubice odpeljali k veterinarju
