Essence - Nude It
I've been searching for a good nude nail polish for a long time. I think I finally found it. My previous favorite nude/skin shade was S-he Stylezone in #204, but this one is much better.
This polish covers my nails perfectly in 2 coats. It has that flat brush I like and the formula is great as well. I only wish it came in a bigger bottle.

ReplyDeleteBy the looks of MAC Brown Bag I'd say this Essence shade is a bit lighter. I don't think they're dupes, but it's still a nice color.

ReplyDeleteIt's from the last year's renewed core line. If you have access to Essence, you should have no problems finding it.
DeleteMy only nude polish is H&M Nerd. It doesn't really match my skintone but I had to buy it because of the name.

ReplyDeleteI don't really have a favorite. I've tried some, but I just don't like the way it looks on my nails. It's either too brown (greyish or sandy), or too pink (like the newer version of tickle my france-y by OPI). If I ever want some nice "nude" manicure, I'd use some sheer polish, which doesn't come out completely opaque. Though I still haven't found the perfect one, and I'm not really trying, as I prefer bright or dark nails :)

ReplyDeleteFrom the ones I've tried, Nails Inc Basil Street and Color Club Best Dressed list are my favourites (although CC is a darker nude, almost camel colour. I love this Essence one :)
ReplyDeleteLove this shade on you. A nice clean look. Doesn't give you dead looking hands like some do. I should keep a list of favorite polishes. I can't remember what the nude is that looks really good. I do know it was a Sally Hansen Salon polish. Hopefully I'll come across it & remember it was the perfect nude.

ReplyDeleteMy perfect nude nails is ony layer of Essie Ballet Slippers mixed with three drops of OPI Ski Teal We Drop(To get a cooler, much bluer undertone as my fingers), then two layers of OPI Samoan Sand and one layer of ELF matte nail polish. Just exactly colour, and looks clean and fresh.

I really like this because it doesn't look completely mannequin hands-esque. My current favorite nude is Color Club Nomadic in Nude.

Prejšnji mesec sem se odločila, da je čas, da tudi jaz preizkusim nude odtenek in ker mi v trgovini nobeden ni bil všeč, sem sama nekaj zmiksala in rezultat je porazen :(
