These are the multichrome shades, from which I got Emocionante, Fascinante, Reluz and Show:
... and these are the holographic shades, from which I got Notavel and Supremo.
Now those are some pretty, pretty polishes, right? As I said, I got these in a swap, so I can't really tell you anything about where to get them or how much they cost. I've seen some very different price tags for these though. The best way to get them would be to contact someone who lives in Brazil and arrange a swap or ask them to buy the polishes for you.
Let's talk about Emocionante now. At first I thought the name means 'emotional' or something like that, but as my dear assistant Google Translate told me, it's supposed to be 'exciting'. And it certainly is exciting. I've tried all 4 multichrome shades and I have to say this one is my favorite. It's not as color-changing as Show, but it shows the colors I like the most. I layered a coat of Emocionante over black creme nail polish and that's perfectly enough to get a nice duochrome effect.
Wet n Wild, Black Creme, 1 coat + Ludurana, Emocionante, 1 coat
The main color in Emocionante is a deep blurple shimmer which shifts from deep dark blue to rich purple. The purple becomes warmer and warmer towards the edges until it reaches magenta, burgundy and copper-y gold sheen. A lovely dance of colors, that is.
Here's a better color drop, where you can actually see the main color (blurple) in the middle, which goes to warmer purple, magenta, burgundy and copper. I didn't see the yellow-ish sheen on my nails. I think the colors at the very edges are only visible when you dip your nails in the water. I've set a little demonstration for my mother: I took a bowl of water, placed it on the table and put my nails into it. She was astounded and started naming the colors she saw. We, ladies, can really concentrate on the pretty shiny things, right?
I think this is the best photograph I've took of this polish. You can see everything from the blue base (on the first nail), to purple, magenta, burgundy and copper. And it wasn't easy to catch them all. I think it might be easier to photograph the Bigfoot than take a proper photo of a duochrome polish.
The effect isn't only visible on the sunlight, but it's easier to get a sharp photo outdoors. After all, it's winter and there isn't much light anyway. I was happy to see the sun today and I could also take a photo inside (with natural lighting). And with Car beside me. Showing his pink little tongue.
Like I mentioned before, I layered Emocionante over black nail polish. The application was nice and although the polish formula seems to be a bit runny and sheer, 1 coat was enough. It dries fairly quickly and the best of all (well, right after the color effect) is the scent. Yes, these polishes are scented. But don't worry, you won't be able to smell it from across the screet. They have a very subtle smell of something that reminds me of violets. Very pleasant.
It seems I really got excited about this one, huh. =)
