Review: Nail Delights - Red Roses Full Cover Water Decals

WOW, this certainly took a long time. I can't even remember when I got these decals from Nail Delights, I just remember trying to put them on and they didn't stick. Well, today I stumbled upon these Red Roses water decals again and searched for an application tutorial. I guess top coat is the key here. Silly me. *blushes*

''These full cover water decals come in 12 various sizes allowing you to achieve the correct fit for each nail, then you file off the excess length either with the enclosed nail file or your own.''

The instructions that came with the decals obviously didn't do it for me. Here's a video tutorial that helped me a lot. I used a bowl with water, Essence top coat, tweezers and scissors to cut the decals.

The thing that confused me the most was the fact these water decals didn't stick to my nails like smaller ones would. They were curling at the edges of nails and slipping off. Yes, top coat IS the key. Once the decal is where you want it to be, just apply top coat over it and it will stick to your nail. It's actually really simple once you get the hang of it. This is how it looks at the end.

I didn't like these water decals at first, but that's just because I didn't know how to apply them properly. Now I actually like them a lot. They're way better than other nail stickers kind of products, because the top coat 'melts' them on your nails. That way there's almost no chance of the decals lifting at the edges for no reason.
