Book & Movie of the week: I started reading Jeffrey Eugenides' Virgin Suicides on Tuesday. I've had it on my 'to read list' for ages and I couldn't help it ... so I started reading it in the library. After a couple of pages, my eyes filled with tears. Yeah, I closed the book and read the rest of it at home. I was left speechless. It's such a great book. It reminds me of Girl, Interrupted (which is one of my favorite movies, btw) although it's totally different. Perfect. I wanted to see the movie as well and I'm glad I did. The only problem I had with it is the atmosphere. It was so much darker and heavier in the book. The girls in the movie appeared quite light-hearted compared to the book. Still, great book and great movie. Certainly not for everyone, but I recommend it!

Posts of the week:
Rina from Simply Rins did another great nail art tutorial. Heart Patches are perfect for those of you who want something special on your nails for Valentine's Day.
Fashion Polish posted her swatches of the a England The Legend collection. Pretty amazing!
Another view on Essence Gold Old Buffy by Vique's Varnish. Boy, I'm glad I got this one. It looks like it's lit from within.
Sophie from My Awesome Beauty probably dreams of Summer. Here's her summerfresh nail design.
Zoya True Collection by Kellie from Also Known As. Skylar, Lotus, Farah, Tru ... *faints*
I've already said Holland collection by OPI is one of their best collections lately. But these swatches by Scrangie show some of the colors are quite close to the ones from Zoya True collection.
China Glaze The Hunger Games Capitol Colors Collection by Scrangie. Oh yes, they're finally here. I see a couple of shades that could make their way into my stash, but I have to say I'm a little disappointed by this collection.
Nailxchange knows how to start a lemming. Her Sally Hansen Project Runway post reminded me hat my dreams of having this polish will remain only that. Dreams.
Is there a way to make a gorgeous indigo polish even more awesome? The Polished Perfectionist knows the answer to that: Indigo Lunar Eclipse.
Music of the week:
Well, not music per-se, but still worth watching. Animals FTW! Although the body isn't bad either. No?
