I just spent the best day with my family. We were out all day, had a little BBQ and talked. Now I'm tired and I think I'll sleep like a baby. Yay!
Aishila had her check at the vet yesterday. They confirmed that her lungs are OK, but there's something going on with her liver. We don't know if it's anything serious - she'll be going back to the doctor on Tuesday. Keep your fingers crossed!
I wore Barry M Indigo on my super short nails this week. I also wore Sally Hansen Pacific Blue, which I forgot to photograph and Guppy #64 which I'm wearing right now. I'm into blues lately.
Enid Blyton and her Famous Five series. I still remember the day our teacher told us about these books. I was in 3rd grade and I went to the library right after the class (I was quite a book nerd back then). I fell in love with the stories and the characters and I think I read every book at least 5 times. I still like to read them, but it's kind of embarrassing to go to the library and borrow a book for 10-year-olds. I solved the problem and bought all the books. Now they're mine - I can read them whenever I want and not feel embarrassed by it. Oh, these take me back...

Ah, technology. I like it, but it also scares me. I don't consider myself as a big techno freak, but I like to live a cosy life. That's one of the reasons why I purchased a tablet. Now I can stay in my bed and read blogs or books - there are tons of free Edgar Allan Poe books in the store! - watch movies or listen to the music. Or play Angry Birds. *cough* I'm so 2009.
This is Toyo. He's our neighbor's dog. He's kind of crazy but also sweet. He's a friend of Aishila (she's very happy when he comes to visit) while Jimi's giving him the evil eye. He's afraid of her. And Arya is afraid of Toyo. And the circle is complete.

Gosh, Aishila's face on the 1st photo is to die for! :) Too bad she's having health problems yet again. But she's a tough kitty and a fighter. She'll be fine, I'm sure. It's nice to read about her friend Toyo. I love it when cats and dogs get along.

I loved Famous Five when I was a kid, too. Very cheesy books, but still :) I bet you like George the best ;) and Timmy the dog, of course. Julian always bugged me a little :D

And Die Antwoord, well, they aren't exactly "my style" either, but for some crazy reason I always *have* to look and listen. It's a little bit like a gross accident; you know you shouldn't look, but it's too fascinating not to.

DeleteZa tablet mi ni treba biti prav nič fovš. =) Sem kupila poceni varijanto, tako za surfanje po internetu in prebiranje knjig. Čeprav sem trenutno kar pri 'razjarjenih tičih' obtičala. Je pa tale tablet sedaj na voljo v Tušu za slabih 200€.

I got the books via Bolha.com (slovenian type of Ebay) and in a book store in Celje (Antika).

ReplyDeleteAhaha I think Die Antwoord are soo cool! What's cool is that they are not %100 serious, it's pretty much a show. I love that they are from South Africa! My daughter's favourite song right now is Enter the Ninja (the clean version of course). She is 18 months old! Be careful, once you listen to that song it never leaves your head!!!
