I love seeing new stuff, I really do, but I still think Essence is changing their products way too much. It hasn't been long since they presented new Colour & Go shades and now they're releasing polishes in new bottles AND new shades. It's king of tiring, don't you think? Anyway, get those old nail polish shades while you still can. These will be coming soon...

It's too bad some of the best shades will be discontinued. Again. Are you excited to try the new Colour & Go shades?
P.S: I'm afraid of the new brush. I hope it's not gonna be the same story as with the Catrice ''new and better'' brush which turned to ''new and wonkier'' brush.

The selection of shades is sparse on our Essence racks, they have few of the exciting shades, just a bunch of beiges, pinks and some reds :yawn: .
I really like the shape of these bottles though, than the previous round one. I hope that shape will get released here in the US :)
ReplyDeleteI always get the chills when I read labels saying 'new improved formula' because many times those changes are for the worse. I haven't tried any of those Catrice new, wonkier brushes yet, but I'll keep an eye on them when I do.

I wonder how much smaller these bottles will be....seems like whenever companies do a packaging overhaul, they increase the price and decrease the amount of product :| Some of those colors do look quite fun though! Hope they show up in the U.S.
ReplyDeleteActually, they're *increasing* the amount of product. The old bottles had 5 ml, but these new ones have 8 ml in them. And they are adding a minimal price increase to cover that (i.e. 30 cents here in Holland).
DeleteI'm with you on the subject of Essence changing their products and making limited editions too much! It gets very tiring to have to hunt for some kind of rarities all the time. I live in Estonia and have to go abroad to buy Essence and Catrice products. So I don't like the everchanging assortment.

ReplyDeletePersonally speaking, I'm not excited at all. I'm afraid of this continue changing. I loved the brush, the formula and the bottle. They were perfect to me!! Why changing something that's working properly and that's so appreciated by its users? :-\ New bottle isn't that "good-looking". I'm wondering if it's even easy to store :-/ New brush...I hope it's not like Catrice's too. New formula.......that's what's scaring me the most. Let's see.......

ReplyDeleteI'm not very happy about this change: I like simple old bottles and love the C&G brush. I'm afraid about the new brush, as I agree with you on Catrice "new", so far the ones I tried were poor (and unhandy)!
