This is how I feel most of the time these days: yawning and trying to keep up with constant headaches. I blame it on the heat. And air conditioning. Just let it be over already!
Aishila, on the other hand, is doing much better. She still has problems with breathing, but most of the hair grew back and she gained some weight. That's always good.
One of the best ways to cheer up when you're down is definitely by getting a package from a friend. Feline surprised me again with a bunch of stuff from Sweden. H&M polishes and lipglosses, L'Oreal, Max Factor and Viva la Diva nail polishes, plus a giant bird ring. She knows me. =) Thank you, honey!
Here are the color drops of the polishes she sent me. I forgot to include H&M Duo Nail Polish in Navy Cosmos on the photo above, but the color drops are here:
And the ring... <3
The weather, or better yet the temperatures got normal(-ish) in the past week and that means I could do my make up without worrying it would melt of. So I took my ELF BeautyBook in Neutral Eye Edition for a spin. I'll try to tell you more about it in one of my next posts, because I really, really like it. This is one of my make up looks I wore.
I caved in. I'm not too much of a fashion-trend-following kind of person, but I couldn't help it. I saw those Isabel Marant wedge sneakers one too many times. Now, I don't spend that much money on a pair of sneakers and they're a bit too sporty for me anyway - so I bought myself something similar. I have to say I'm not completely sure about these, but I think I'll get used to wearing them. They are comfortable, that much I can say. What do you say about these?

Posts of the week:
AmyGrace's aka The Polishes Perfectionist's view on Cirque Dark Horse nail polish. Her swatches are always a pleasure to look at.
I really need to try the cling wrap technique with gold color like Deborah from Love. Varnish, chocolate and more... did.
Ivana Thinks Pink was inspired by Harlequin Hardware nails by CND. Now I'm inspired too, but my nails are too short. I guess I'll just admire her mani until my nails grow.
Alexa from KosmetikAddicted showed me the first Essence Colour & Go swatches. From the new line. And I can't wait to see them in real life as well.
Care for some lime? Anna from Pretty Digits did a great lime manicure with Essence Lime Up and Bundle Monster image plate.
Music video of the week: Can you see the beauty in this video? Then we'd get along just fine. =)
