Illamasqua is back with a new collection called Generation Q. And the message of this collection is: Beauty has no age limits.

''Generation Q is a clear message to everybody, everywhere that beauty is not young, old, black, white, male or female, but anything, everything and everyone.
If you're someone who does not want age to define them, don't want to blend in and fade away, you are generation Q. '' (Illamasqua)
Generation Q collection consists of 12 new products: Complement Palette, Empower Palette, two lipstick shades (Underworld and Magnetism), two lipgloss shades (Opulent and Boost), two nail varnish shades (Creator and Charisma), Gleam in Aurora, two Powder Blushers (Sophie and Allure) and Precision Ink in Wisdom. You can see the products and read more about the collection HERE.
Here are the products I got: Empower Palette, Gleam in Aurora, Lipstick in Magnetism, Lipgloss in Opulent and Precision Ink in Wisdom.

Empower Palette
Empower Palette consists of:
*Powder Eye Shadow in Blink (neutral flesh tone, matt finish)
*Powder Eye Shadow in Synth (iridescent pale pink, shimmer finish)
*new Pressed Pure Pigment in Fervent (reddish/blue/brown/green, shimmer finish)
*new Liquid Metal in Slick (anthracite metal, shimmer finish)
Swatched on my hand, from left to right: Blink, Synth, Fervent and Slick.

Gleam in Aurora
Gleam - lightweight compact highlighter, iridescent fomulation lifts and highlights wherever applied. Gleam in Aurora is a light champagne with pearlescent finish.
I used a small amount of Aurora on my hand. It's very easy to apply, since it's a light textured cream and it gives a dewy look. I love it! I've been looking for a product like this forever.
Lipstick in Magnetism
Lipstick in Magnetism is described as a deep raspberry pink. Nothing to add here. It's a beautiful shade that I think would suit just about anyone.

Sheer Lipgloss in Opulent
Opulent is described as rainbow beige. It kind of looks like one of those Sally Hansen Hidded Treasure type of nail polish in a lipgloss form. Only with smaller particles.

Precision Ink in Wisdom
Wisdom is antiqued gold eyeliner. Bronze might be the other word for it. It needs a good shake and maybe a double application, but it is gorgeous. And smear proof. Swatched on my hand:
I also got this gorgeous Generation Q pocket mirror. Stylish. =) And it just happened I needed one.
Do you have your favorite Illamasqua Generation Q product? I can tell you I've been waiting for a product like Gleam in Aurora for a long time. I've worn it today on the highest point of my cheekbones and I loved it. My next favorite would have to be the Precision Ink and lipstick in Magnetism. Gorgeous colors!
*Products were sent to me by the company.
Let me know if you'd like to know more about any of the products I mentioned. Thanks for looking and commenting!

I like Aurora and the lipstick (though I'm not sure I'd wear a bright color on my lips..). I'd also buy their nail polish (black one with silver sparkles).)
ReplyDeleteŠminka in liner, oujea!
ReplyDeleteI like the gold liner and Magnetism lipstick. The raspberry color is simply irresistible.
ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteI like Wisdom but I wonder if it's a bit greenish. I am looking for a bronze/coppery liquid eyeliner... Thank you :-)
Hi! I wouldn't say it's greenish (it's more on the brown side when the light isn't hitting it). It's a beautiful bronze color and the quality is amazing.
