EDIT: I got a super fast response from Pure Luxe. As it turns out, this is Faceted after all.
Just to let you know I still love Pure Luxe Faceted eyeshadow from the Kaleidoscope Collection. No, I wasn't asked or payed to say this, I genuinely adore this shade.

Whether it's applied dry over a primer or foiled, it doesn't disappoint. From grey to pink shimmer and everything in between in only one magic loose eye shadow. There's only one problem: judging based on Pure Luxe website and their swatches, the shadow I own looks more like Illusion than Faceted and now I have no idea which one I actually own. The label on my jar clearly says it's Faceted, but it could easily be a mistake. Since I already wrote a couple of posts on this eyeshadow, I feel obligated to let you know it might not be what I say it is.

Faceted, Illusion or something else?

Hopefully Pure Luxe people will help me figure it out. And then I think I'll get me some more of this goodness, whatever it may be called.
Do you know of any other duochrome eyeshadow I should check out? I'd be really happy to get some suggestions.
Thanks for looking and commenting!

C'mon Cameleon by Catrice s pretty popular duochrome. There used to be Mystic Lemon and Mystic Purple from Essence, but they are discontinued now.
ReplyDeleteGotta check out the Catrice one, thanks for the suggestion! I got Mystic Lemon from Essence. It works great as a highlighter.
DeletePerfect color!
ReplyDeleteM*A*D Minerals and Meow Cosmetics both have duochrome mineral eye shadows. For Meow Cosmetics, the Friday the 13th eye shadows are only available on Friday the 13ths or in October; these colors are awesome and I definitely recommend them. I double checked because i'd hate to post brands you can't get, but both brands shop internationally. Also, if you're interested in mineral eye shadows in general vs duochrome specific. E.L.F's Socialite and Caffeninated are amazing colors.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's right! Meow Cosmetics and their 'weird' Friday 13th sales... Thanks for reminding me. =)
DeleteYou're welcome. They also have their other Halloween collections out right now too. I just ordered a bunch from the Zombie collection and some other ones.
DeleteWhatever it is, its gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! It reminds me of Barry M Dazzle Dust in Oyster Grey, but I think maybe Faceted is lighter from how it looks on you. I adore Oyster Grey so now I want to try Faceted! :) what are your other favorite Pure Luxe products/shades? I might have to do an order now!
ReplyDeleteWill check Oyster Grey out! Thanks. I only purchase eyeshadows from Pure Luxe, I haven't really tried anything else. But their pigments are awesome!
DeleteThanks Nihrida! Which eyeshadow/pigment shades of theirs would you say are the most unique and spectacular? Like your top 5 or 10? Thanks again! :D
DeleteZanimiva senčka. Kaj pa je na nohtih? Tudi to zgleda zanimivo :)
ReplyDeleteEbalay preko Jane Eyre... že pišem post. =D
Deletewow it is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCompletely out of topic, but I just wanted to say that I did a swap with a girl from Slovenia a couple of days ago and she included some pretty awesome candy, loved it, so jealous we can't get it here =)
ReplyDeleteWhat was it? I'm so curious right now. =D
DeleteBought! So killer!
ReplyDeletecould this be the prettiest eyeshadow i've ever seen. it might be i think!

Femme Fatale Cosmetics and Black Rose Minerals are companies that have really incredible duochrome eye shadows.
ReplyDeleteThat is sooooo beautiful! And I stopped doing decent eye makeup way too long ago. But this is just purrrrrrfect.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I saw the picture, I knew it was "Faceted"...thanks to your very first post about it, I have my own. It is my favorite shade EVAR! (So thanks again!)
ReplyDeleteAs for other iridescent shades, I have L'ancome's "Luring" an iridescent violet with blue/green flash. It's lovely too...
