Finally! I updated my nail polish database, where you can see color drops of almost all polishes I got my hands on. They're sorted by color (in one case by finish) and listed in alphabetical order. Hope you'll find it useful. Click on the heart collage to go to my nail polish database...
A little FYI - I sorted the polishes in 9 categories:
- B&W, Silver & Grey (102 polishes)
- Blue (138 polishes)
- Brown, Nude & Taupe (59 polishes)
- Holographic, Duochrome & Misc (78 polishes)
- Green (126 polishes)
- Pink (82 polishes)
- Purple (139 polishes)
- Red (62 polishes)
- Yellow, Orange, Gold & Coral (51 polishes)
You can tell I was always really into purple and (lately) blue shades. =)
Thanks for looking!

Holy :))) this must be heaven! They are all great!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Josephine!
DeleteOh my! I can't imagine how long this took you to do. Did you photograph each of the color swatches? Really amazing.
ReplyDeleteYep, I took a photo of each nail polish bottle. I do it whenever I buy a new polish, so it's not that much work. =)
DeleteOMG, to so nebesa! In tudi moj OCD je zelo srečen, ko gleda tvoje sličice in organizacijo istih. <3
ReplyDeleteHe he... še dobro, da sama nisem toliko udarjena na organizacijo: potem bi morala lake urediti še po finišu, toplih/hladnih odtenkih, znamki... itd. =)
DeleteThud... that was the sound of me falling on the floor! Wow! What software did you use for this?
ReplyDelete=) Nothing special. These are just color drops of the polish bottles, saved on my computer and PrtSc-ed here.
DeleteThis is amazing! you've done a huge work!
ReplyDeleteThanks! =)
DeleteThank you so much, your database is really helpful.
ReplyDeleteHow do you take the "drop" photos, btw? Is it an actual drop of varnish, a macro photo of your nails or perhaps simply a bottle photo?
You're welcome. I'm glad you find it helpful. =) I already explained how I take those photos. Just search for 'how to color drop' and you shall find it - It's just a bottle photo, nothing fancy.
DeleteOMG thats amazing *-* where do you store all that polish?
ReplyDeleteAmazing job, thanks for do it and share it ;)
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is WOW! It is an amazing collection and what a wonderful way to organize it. So much hard work. Thank you for sharing :)
