We played a little game in my last post, didn't we? I posted a close up photo of Sinful Hottie layered over black. Congrats to Ivana, Marie, Fernanda Trapp and Marieke! You were all right. Special congratulations go to Ivana who was the first one to guess. =)
Sinful Hottie is from my nail polish photo vault and it's been a while since I wore it. I did wear a England's Jane Eyre this week thought. I was a bit disappointed by the gloominess of the Gothic Beauties Collection in my review but I have to say all the polishes are very my kind of shades. Dark with a hint of color which gives them a mysterious look. I loved wearing this one! As you might already know I later layered it with Ebalay 006 and that's the combo I've been wearing until now.
Panvel in Cote d'Azul from earlier this week.
I got some new stuff from Catrice. Polishes in How I Matt Your Mother and Hip Queens Wear Blue Jeans were 2,59 € per bottle and the eyeshadow in Go, Charlie Brown was 2,89 €. When I tried out the polishes I was surprised I haven't noticed them before. They're perfect! And I even learned how to work with the bushy brush.
Gotta share this with you, 'cause it's too good not to tell you about it: Illamasqua is offering FREE UK and international standard shipping on all orders until Monday 15th October (9AM BST). No minimum spend, no codes!
EOTD from the beginning of this week. Looks like my usual eye make up. I got sick on Tuesday and that means I was wearing mascara and blush only until the end of the week. I don't feel too artistic when I'm ill. Trying to keep my lungs inside my chest cavity is a number one priority now.
My new shoe love. J'adore!
I didn't include Arya my last weekly sum-up, but that doesn't mean I forgot about her. Arya just doesn't like to pose. And she's also not too fond of our new ones: Lisa and Bombi. When they come too close, she hisses like crazy.
Little ball of fur.
Purr, purr, purr.
Simply Rins already started posting her Halloween ideas for 2012. Her Black Cats Galore manicure is just adorable.
Azure from EyeGrafitti joined a winged shadow challenge. Beautiful!
China Glaze has released a second collection of magnetics. You can see swatches of the Magnetix II on Fashion Polish. While you're there, check out her Misa WanderLust Collection swatches as well.
Salla from OMG! Polish 'em! keeps teasing us with her swatches of indie polishes. This time it was Daring Digits swatches. I got my eyes set on Courage.
I was always a purple lover, but lately I've been eyeing blue shades... Well, until I saw this gorgeous Pupa Eccentric Violet on Like a Candy Shop. Instant *want*.
Deborah from Love. Varnish, chocolate and more... reminded me of Sinful polishes again with her beautiful swatch of Rainstorm. I need more sin(ful) in my life.
Tutorial time: I love this step by step Gradient Dot Manicure tutorial by Chalkboard Nails. Need to try it out someday.
The last China Glaze shade that really made me want it was Glittering Garland from the last year's winter collection. Now I'm lusting over another green-ish shade - Pretty Digits and her swatches of China Glaze Make a Spectacle. I like it!
Music of the week:
Now, THAT's exactly why I love her so much. The voice, the words, her expression... a dance of passion between two people. She nailed it!
And a little something to think about:
Who are you? Are you in touch of your darkest fantasies?
Have you created a life for yourself where you can experience them?
I have. I am fucking crazy.
But I am free.
