The manicure I'm about to show you today is neither practical nor comfortable. It's crazy enough to be worn at special occasions only and I think it's kind of cool. This is a post on how to make a lace manicure.
You'll need:
* nail polish in nude color (it can be either opaque or sheer; I chose Barry M in Nude)
* black lace, scissors and acrylic stick (can also be a regular toothpick)
* top coat (I used Konad one)
1 - Paint your nails with chosen nail polish. Allow them to dry.
2 - Cut the lace in shape of your nails.
3 - Add top coat to one of your nails. While top coat is still wet, place a piece of lace on top of it.
4 - Use acrylic stick to put the lace in place. Repeat steps 3 and 4 on all of your nails.
5 - Trim the lace where it's too long.
6 - You can apply another coat or two of your chosen top coat to make the manicure last longer and you're done!
This manicure looks much cooler in real life. I couldn't stop staring at my nails when I had this lace on, but I did mind the fact my nails were bumpy and scratchy. It was kind of irritating to wear it, but it looked very nice. You must keep in mind those words come from a huge lace lover. =)
