My Small ELF Haul

Here's a post that could start with words: long, long time ago... I think I ordered these items in June, but haven't posted about them yet. There's always a nail polish shade that seems more important and I have to write about it. And these poor ELF products just didn't get enough attention. Until today.

Eyelid Primer and Mineral Eyeshadow Primer. Good substitutes for Urban Decay Primer Potion. I stocked up because of the UD selling in China alarm. Good product for a great price.
Elf Eyeshadow Primer

Beauty Book in Neutral Eye Edition. I didn't even order this - I got it as a gift with my order. And it turned out to be a great product. I can make a quick neutral eye look with it and that's why I love it as much as I do. It's fantastic!

All Over Color Stick in Toasted. Too brown and too shimmery for my pale skin. I haven't used this one yet and I doubt I will anytime soon.

Nail Polish in Light Red. Another gift I received with my purchase. It's a great one. Bright classic red creme. Opaque in 2 coats, good formula and easy application. I recommend!

  1. My favorite ELF products are the Studio brushes - they're surprisingly nice quality. I also like the Studio HD blushes - super pigmented!

    1. Have you ever tried Sigma brushes? I buy ELF products from the core line (not Stuio) because it's cheaper. Some of their Studio products are in the same price range as the products I get here, plus I get to test them here...

    1. They're also very nice to use: pigmented, but not too much. It's great for a quick natural look.

  3. Couldn't you use the All Over Color Stick in Toasted as a creamy eyeshadow?
I love Elf, especially some of their studio brushes.

    1. Oh, I HATE using creamy eyeshadows on my eyes. I always feel like they're gonna slide off my lids. Maybe I should try it once...

  4. Where did you buy them from? :) I've always wanted to try ELF because in my country there's NO way you could buy makeup for that price.

  5. my favorites are the essential line concealer (one of the best I've ever used and costs 1$!) the HD translucent powder and their tinted moisturizer. The HD blush is lovely, but not very easy to use.

    1. Shimmery coral, right? I googled it and I think it would be great for summer, especially now since I've discovered my love for corals.

  7. Beautiful shade that nailpolish, though I really don't like ELF's nailpolish formula, in like, one day it starts to chip on me, and sometimes it really peels off! :s

    1. That's too bad. On me, every polish chips on the first day. Well, if I'm really lucky, I'll get a chip on day 2. =D

  8. My favourite ELF product is the mineral eyeshadow primer, but you already have that! Hehe. GREAT free gifts, those eyeshadow swatches look lovely. Neutral eyeshadows are always my cup of tea :3

    1. I was really surprised how good are these ELF primers. UDPP is just a tad better, but ELF is MUCH cheaper. I love it!
