MUA Haul Part I

Make Up Academy has recently hit 35,000 likes on their Facebook page. As a thank you, they offered a 35% off their entire range plus free shipping. I couldn't pass on this offer, so I bought me some beauties. Well, I made two orders... This are the products from the first order I placed. 

I got three nail polishes. I hate the brush in the MUA polishes, but as I fell madly in love with their Stormy Skies nail polish, I decided to try some other shades as well. I got Frozen Yoghurt for which I though it's gonna be a periwinkle creme but as it turns out it's just lilac. Shade 23 is a great olive green creme with some silver microglitter and Leicester Square is a gunmetal grey from the Magnetic nail polish range. From the look of the swatch on their site, I thought it was gonna be blue... So be careful when buying. The swatches on MUA site aren't the best. 

Another product I just had to put in my basket is this 12 eyeshadow palette in Heaven & Earth. Gorgeous natural shades for everyday look. Amazing palette for just £4.00 (before the discount!).

Just to try the MUA eyeshadows, I picked two of the shades from the Pearl Eyeshadow range. The first one is in shade 12 (again: the swatches on their site are awful!) which reminds me of the Too Faced  Label Whore shade. I'm not saying they're possible dupes, it's just the effect it gives. Brown-ish eyeshadow with a bright silvery green flash. 

I thought shade 29 is gonna be a perfect greenish bronze, but it's way too light. I still see some potential in it. I will make it work. =) 

Another product I wanted to try are the MUA Blushers. I got them in shade 4 (left on the photo) and shade 5 (right on the photo). I was disappointed with them, because they're both quite on the orange side. Just take a look at these two shades on the MUA site HERE. Where's the pink and dark red? I think they must be very inconsistent when it comes to color, especially after googling for the blusher shade 5 photos. Too bad. 

I also got another three products I haven't mentioned above:
* Mega Volume Mascara
* Mascara in Shade 6
* Extreme Felt Eyeliner in Black

I payed ~ €16.00 for all of the products I mentioned which is a very good price, but you have to remember - you never really know what you're getting. I spend some time searching for swatches, but I still got some items I thought I didn't even order - because the colors were so off.
