''Monroe (reborn - new formula) is a blood red jelly holographic (scattered) and has NO glitter. It contains a holographic shimmer for that extra special touch and more rainbows of course!'' (piCture pOlish)

piCture pOlish, Monroe, 2 coats

My first thought when I painted my nails with Monroe was: this is Kryptonite's sister for sure. It contains the same kind of scattered holographic shimmer which makes the polish shine from within. Now that I know it can be done, I want one in blurple too! =) It's genious how piCture pOlish created a polish that looks so deep with only 2 coats. It's the effect I've never seen in a polish before and if you own it, you know what I'm talking about.
Monroe is a great polish with good formula and brush. The application was fine and so was the drying time. I added a coat of Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer for higher, glossy shine but I don't think that was neccessary.

You can buy Monroe nail polish in piCture pOlish online store for AU$11.50. Check out their Network Page to find the sellers near you.

This one is absolutely amazing.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Can't find the right words for it.
ReplyDeleteThis does look like it has a lot of depth to it.
ReplyDeleteI love this! I wonder how it compares to Zoya Blaze?
ReplyDeleteLove piCture pOlish - this is definitely a lemming!
ReplyDeleteWoah. Beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shade!
ReplyDeletekok je Ĩudovit!
ReplyDeletepretty, but I think I prefer the OPI DS shades that look similar. I totally don't remember the name now, obviously... great swatches!
ReplyDeleteIt is great and indeed a sister to Kryptonite and Attitude, but I am sorry they don't do the old version any more. I have it and I like it much better than the new one - the old one is darker and the glitter in it is much more delicate. It's a pity I will not be able to buy any more of the old version when my bottle ends :((
ReplyDeleteI wish they'd rather keep both polishes in their color range and just invent a new name for this new red.
This does look gorgeous! Lovely swatches :).
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite one :) .
ReplyDeleteOMG...I absolutely love this color. I am
ReplyDeletealso a big fan of the Classic Hollywood era. :)
