Weekly Sum-Up #46

Starting this weekly sum-up with a photo of Bombi... just because I don't want to start with the photo below.

Lisa after spaying. She woke up soon, but slept afterwards for a long time. Well, we slept together, just like I did with Arya in January. The operation was successful and she recovered super fast. Bombi... you're next!

I really don't need a box for cookies and chocolates, but I couldn't resist this one. How could I? Three cute kitten on the lid and chocolate bonbons inside. Yes, please!

Just because I love cute stuff: I got this Gorjuss phone case and stainless steel water bottle from my BF. Those lighters were my own gift to myself. I don't smoke, I'll use it for lighting my incense sticks. ;)

Every single mug in our household is different. They don't match and I like it that way. This is my latest 'love mug'. I drink tea on daily basis and I really need different mugs to keep it interesting.

I've seen this type of art all over Pinterest and YouTube... and just about everywhere else - melted crayons on canvas. You need a blank canvas, crayons, glue gun and hair dryer. You know the rest. I actually like the way it turned out and it's already hanging on my wall.

I had to try my new MUA Undressed palette. I love the way these shadows blend, love the colors, love the pigmentation... Just love it! And it's so cheap. Plus a dupe of Urban Decay Naked palette. You can't go wrong with this one. Oh, I just remembered... I did my whole eye make up with MUA products. That means MUA eyeliner and MUA mascara. Not bad.

Illamasqua recently released two new blue nail polish shades in Noble and Cameo. You can see swatches of both on Ommorphia Beauty Bar. I'm dying over Cameo... I was also told Illamasqua's bringing back the Raindrops shade. I remember it as a beautiful polish with a great name, but it was a 4-coater. I hope they fixed that.

Another new earrings for which I should probably get a licence to wear. It's spiky. And I like it. Ebay as usual.

FINALLY!!! I finally saw The Hobbit!!! I must say I'm completely in love again. I love Martin Freeman in the role of Bilbo, I love Richard Armitage as Thorin, I love to see Ian, Christopher, Hugo and Cate again. Oh, and Rivendell! The place of my dreams. Man! Can't you see I'm really excited?! Why, Peter? Why do I have to wait another year to look into those dragon eye(s) again?! The humanity!

Everything was going well until I saw Thorin. Then I spent about 30 minutes telling my BF how Thorin's eyes look just like Robin Williams'. What do you think?

Man Candy of the week: Yeah, baby, it's Ryan Gosling. And he's tied up.

Posts of the week:

Mirma Natalia posted a comparison between Kiko 313 and 209. Plus some other shades.

Cirque came out with a new collection called Objet d'Art. It consists of 11 new shades and they're all swatched by Fashion Polish

If you still don't know what kind of eye make up you're gonna wear on Christmas or New Year's eve, here's an idea by Anatomy of Beauty - gorgeous green glitter look with a tutorial.

I think I have a serious girl crush on Chienkiri. I looked at ther Bloody Orchid video not only to see how she did her make up but to listen her speak italian. Perfetto!

Scrangie swatched and reviewed Deborah Lippmann's Cleopatra in New York. And she did a great job, because I'm drooling all over my desk.

Music of the week: I actually love the video way more than the song.

Thanks for looking and commenting!

  2. That crayoncanvas is really cool!

And I loooved The Hobbit. Freemans facial expression are so good, makes me laugh all the time :D Comical without being comic relief! <3
Cate was even mooore magical in this movie. Aah Galadriel, so lovely. I want her to be my queen. Fangirl!
Oh btw. Robin Williams? Eh yes. totally yes.

(Swedish Trivia: Oakenshield is called Ekenskölde in swedish. A swedish lady got angry because her last name is Ekenskjöld and she did not want to get associated with a fictional figure and that it was offensive. Her family change their name in early 2000s, when did Tolkien write this book`? :') Its so hilarious. But she felt like it was a slap in the face. I wanna slap her in the face. :D)

    1. Thanks! =) I totally agree with you about Freeman. He's so good! Better than all other hobbits so far. =)

That Ekenskölde lady is crazy. I'd love to be connected with it...

  3. Lucky you! I wish I could say that I'm completely in love with the movie :( I'm disappointed. It's a great movie, don't get me wrong, but without any goose bumps moments (for me)... Arrgh!

    P.S.:
Oh, and Thorin is quite good looking for a dwarf :P

+ zaljubljena sem v flaško IN v cel Hobbit cast <3

    1. Vse mucke sem dala sterilizirat na veterinarski postaji Sevnica. Nikoli nisem imela problemov, nazadnje pa sem plačala 64 €. Drugače pa je dobra vet. postaja tudi v Krškem - Šerbec Lipej.

    2. A Sevnica... Tam sem peljala Foxy, ko smo jo našli in je nekaj dni po pregledu umrla. "Popolnoma zdrava". Zato sem rekla, da ne bi šla k nam več... Ampak ok, vsaj sterilizirajo očitno dobro. Hvala!

    3. V Sevnici so dobri za kakšno stvar pokrpat, kar se pa pregledov tiče, so pa površni in (pre)hitri. Če živali ne fali pol glave, potem sploh nič ne ugotovijo. S sterilizacijami imam sicer do sedaj dobre izkušnje. Od kod pa si, če smem vprašat?

    4. No sej, to. Res mi ni jasno, kaj je bilo s Foxy :( Iz Sevnice sem :)

    5. Resno? Mislim, da te še nikoli nisem srečala :D No, dobro je vedeti :)

    6. Resno. =) Jaz se tudi tebe ne spomnim... Je pa res, da ne hodim veliko ven. Asocialnost, pa to.

  7. Haha, yes! Their eyes DO look just alike!

And I like your crayon art & kittens, too :)

  8. Rivendell is the place of my dreams too! I always say I want to live there! I LOVED the movie, but was kinda sad that other people didn't. I love all the other elements Peter Jackson added, and the details he added about the other things there were going on at the same time as the book, but weren't mentioned.

  9. That piece of art is stunning! Rainbows <3 The cats are as cute as ever :)
