MUA Nail Varnish in Frozen Yoghurt

Thought I was buying a periwinkle polish shade, but I got a purple/lilac one instead. MUA Frozen Yoghurt is a gorgeous shade but yet another reason why I don't trust the swatches on MUA website.

It looks more like this color drop below. It reminds me of Zoya Malia but slightly more saturated. I don't own Malia anymore, so I can't say for sure.

MUA, Frozen Yoghurt, 2 coats

I like the formula of this polish, but the brush isn't the best and it leaves visible brush strokes. It's not impossible to work with it, you just need enough polish on the brush to 'flood the lines' it leaves. I used 2 coats of Frozen Yoghurt and it looks a bit patchy on the photos - it looks good in real life though. I'm so disappointed about this color: not because it's not pretty in real life, just because it looks so much better on photos. As you could see on the color drop above, it's pretty warmer IRL. It's still a polish worth owning. Especially for the price of £1.

  1. Meh, it's pretty, but nothing special. It does look different (and prettier) on their website. Too bad. I like the name though :) This bottle reminds me so much of Carlo di Roma polishes. Those were great.
